lol thats where i got the Led's...but from a diffrent seller.."Lanswitch" was the original seller of the ones i have...the guy who sells them now reckons the ones he has are slower in changing color. if ya have any trouble finding any let me know and i'll see if i can contact the original seller for u

i brought some 2mm color changing LED's off Ebay and replaced the original ones with them.

How did you get the thing on the left to turn on, the leds going up and down on the left side?

That's called a signal meter!

OKay - I have a brand new Ranger 2995 here - and on the frequency counter LCD, you have a recieve indicator...not the meter, but on teh freq counter - how did you turn it on?

sometime when i turn it on im unable to change the freq the guy i bough it from told me of the lil trick to do to it if it done that but that stoped makeing it work after awhile so now it sit's up in a box along with my uniden pc68XL in my closet

i Brought 2 Color changing LED's from ebay and replaced the standard bulbs that the RCI's came out with, LED's use less power and run cooler. :)
