They took the time to go to a track and video tape a race and then posted it on youtube so all you Inspector Gadgets' could come up with the astute observation that they ran from a roll thus eliminating the GTR's AWD advantage. Bravo! Way to not fall for their highly coordinated subterfuge!

My G35 with mild breathing mods cannot take out a '08 V6 Camry SE 20-100, so this vid is total BS. Either the GTR was pedalling it, not at WOT, had a busted cam or this G35 had an extra 100 ponies over stock! The G35 is quick, but not a musclecar/street machine.

There's a reason they have REAL engineers working for Nissan and other car manufacturers out there. Think those AMS guys stand a chance against actual engineers?

Could, would, whatever. In this particular video, on this particular day, with this particular GTR, and that particular G35, with these particular drivers, the G35 won.
In some other situations, with other GTRs and G35s, with other drivers and other modifications, the GTRs woiuld win some, and the G35s would win some.
And with ANY OEM GTR, ANY OEM G35, (both functioning properly) the GTR wins everytime, unless you are just a really shitty driver.
Alright for all of you ignorant people that obviously was a highly modified g35 next the GT-R was not created to go in a straight line hints why would it be awd 3rd the a stock GT-R does the Nurburgring in 7:24.22 something that no G35 will ever be able to do no matter how modified the G35 is now to put that in perspective the Enzo did it in 7:25.7 and the ZR1 did it in 7:26.4 not that big of a time difference but quite an accomplishment for the price. GT-R for around $85,000 Maybe a bit more.

Could, would, whatever. In this particular video, on this particular day, with this particular GTR, and that particular G35, with these particular drivers, the G35 won.
In some other situations, with other GTRs and G35s, with other drivers and other modifications, the GTRs woiuld win some, and the G35s would win some.
And with ANY OEM GTR, ANY OEM G35, (both functioning properly) the GTR wins everytime, unless you are just a really shitty driver.
So everyone shut the fuck up. The end.

Alright for all of you ignorant people that obviously was a highly modified g35 next the GT-R was not created to go in a straight line hints why would it be awd 3rd the a stock GT-R does the Nurburgring in 7:24.22 something that no G35 will ever be able to do no matter how modified the G35 is now to put that in perspective the Enzo did it in 7:25.7 and the ZR1 did it in 7:26.4 not that big of a time difference but quite an accomplishment for the price. GT-R for around $85,000 Maybe a bit more.

The GTR would have lost from a dead stop as well. A stock GTR runs mid 11's, my G35 consistently ran 11.0 - 11.2 @ 135 in the 1/4 mile watch?v=zDrPMLWDFUU

@jrjimene on a drag strip this is on the street where there isn't a whole bunch of rubber laid down at the line and I've seen a couple stock gtr's cross into the 10's most run about 11.2 and up though, so you will have no chance gtr's will always grip street or strip

@jrjimene oh yea I work at 1 of the biggest import race shops in nj because I'm a bench racer race that g35 or gtr against our all motor civic that I'll drive and we'll see who is the bench racer look up certified racing fall nationals 2011, my boss ran 10.3 all motor fwd, I gave up drag racing for time attack but I will still take that car into the 10's easy.

Why is everyone getting so butt hurt over this. I read the video title and instantly thought "the g35 probably isn't stock"....looked at the description and spotted 633whp then continued to watch the video.
I expected the gtr to lose, however if it wasn't a rolling start then I'm sure the gtr would have taken the g35 up to around the neighborhood of 80.
