I twist with a little of both and this last time I used your 2.5 week method with the double clips, however my hair is a little to long for that so next time I'm not sure what I will use until I start. I also sleep with a silk do rag wrap. I figured out that when I had the frizz i was only wrapping the lower locs and not the top and the top was being rubbed by the pillow, oops:) Thanks Tonia

Ok I retwisted my hair last night and it took me 4.5 hours.. I was proud of how it turned out and how I just did it. The coils in the back don't stay twisted very long. What do you suggest that I do about that? Thanks

@61605mont my hair has always grown fast since I was a kid... I usr to gt hair cuts growing up at least twice a week.... but I try to leave it alone as much as possible not washing it to much... ur hair needs the oils and dirt it prodxces to grow.. so over washing is not good.. jst be natural.. eniy ur journey theres no set time frame..

ok I will hold on the hair washing for awhile. I'm a RN and I work in surgery so my hair is in a scrub cap all day. So when I was washing it in the am so I could pull it back into a clip. My hair is really thick and it never dried out and it grew really fast. But thanks for getting back to me, I didn't think that you would!!! But I will wait on the washing!! Oh and what do I do for the frizz?

Ok..ill stick with the B&B cream. How are your edges holding up now that your hair is so much longer/heavier. If you had to start over would you consider a taper in with edge up in the front or would you say no to the taper and just go with a clean edge up?

Funny thing is my hair is soft and I have 246 twist but they are not heavy at all HAHA when I retwist I dont twist my root super tight that can cause breaking... ALso no retwisting dry hair..... I also us that growth oil to keep my scalp moisturized.... and NEVER I mean NEVER will I go for that taper look.... (my personal opinion) Im all about the clean edge up no baby bangs here... :-)

you do your hair really well. I'm not scared but i am scared to do my own twisting because I don't want to mess it up, however I think that I can do it. My hair is really soft and I know that it's going to take along time like you before it actually locs and I'm just in week one but I so badly want to wash my hair.

@MzJazzy1Me41 ok I retwist every other week..... U should try sea salt and water method ( I have a video on that) check it out..... Helps hair loc faster.... I wear peice of material (T-shirt) and satin cap... I also have a video on that check it out.. hope it helps....
