most awkward? many "Normal" anime shows are more awkward than this and they arent even that raunchy, this is supposed to A. make no sense and B. be immature, that was the point.

also it was concieved when the head guys got drunk, you can see why this now is in existance

Hehe, the transformation scene was the best ... espcially like the first 3 or 4 seconds ... where it goes from crappy Drawing to God-tier Drawing and Halo-Slide clothes application.

The show aired along two incest anime (Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai and Yosuga No Sora), an anime about S&M (MM!) a bunch of fanservice anime (too many to mention) and The World God Only Knows. It has to be over the top if they want people to notice it.

@assholemon Oh i don't hate it, I never said that I hated the show. I just find the art kinda funky. Still I like the art for this show much better than something like one piece lol.

@runedermilot yes i dont like the art style on it. Just the same as I dont like One Piece but not liking the art style =/= mean I dont like the show. The main reason to watch this show is the offbeat humor and the art is only a small minus. Just because I dont like the art doesnt mean I will not like the show though. Heck my first impression of Berserk which is one of my favorite shows was "wow outdated art" but thats because i was comparing it to the newer stuff etc. please dont misinterpret me

After watching the first episode, the style reminds me of Powerpuff Girls on crack, and the humor is a little more extreme than something you would find on Adult Swim.

@NoxKreiker23 LMAO so I havent watched that many anime huh... sad... by awkward I mean it is just awkward to watch due to sheer about of stupid crude humor. It is still a fairly entertaining series but they overdo it with the amount of sheer stupidity.

@Fireouch How its meant to mock it is the sheer absurdity of the anime itself. Stripper pole transformations, Sex jokes around every corner, and don't forgot the poop jokes now how often do you see those in a american cartoon?

@katimusha Those are all really common in cartoons in general, except maybe the stripper pole thing. It's all just really crude and juvenile humor yes but I don't see how being modeled after an American cartoon and containing those things mocks those cartoons themselves.

How about Parody, maybe that term is better suited to you as this show is a parody of american cartoons and even pokes fun of otaku in general. I hope that clarifies what i meant by mock.. yes it doesn't mean the same but it was what I meant.
