Rather than remove videos which are flagged, they should just have a disclaimer warning people the video has been flagged as offensive, but keep it available to those who hit "still watch".

DMCA is not about being offensive. It's about copyright. They are falsely flagging this video as a copyright infringement, and Youtube has a policy of removing the video AND THEN reviewing it, not the other way around as it should be.

Unfortunately they will not do this because most videos uploaded and subsequently flagged as offensive are probably pornographic in nature that Google wants completely off the site as a matter of rule. Flagging and automatic deletion eliminates this very quickly and incidentally also allows this sort of video to get censored, which Google clearly does not care much about because most people use youtube only for entertainment purposes.

@warmics No but this is exactly the point. YouTube cant have things like pornography or gratuitous violence, so this flagging system is in place to quickly remove any such videos of EXTREME nature. They also do have a 'click before watching' system for slightly risky videos. The very fact that YouTube have removed this video and therefore firmly put it in that same offensive bracket as anal sex and beheading vidoes is a fucking disgrace.

The ONLY download that works on my machine is LinkYoutube (the YT download button like all others just does not work). Currently LinkYoutube has a problem but rest assured when it is fixed i will be mirroring this. Only those who deep down know that they have no decent argument resort to censorship.
