1999-2006...shittiest auto trannys ever built by acura..the new 07 comes with a 4 shaft vs the older model 3 shaft tranny..whatever that is.but sounds nice..i had a tl..BEAT A 2001 bmw 740 that claims 285 horses with all that heavy weight
@Liftedgully are you fucking nuts, i have a 02 tl type s that has 296000 km and is still on the original tranny, they did have problems from 99- to 03 but they fixed it in 04 now basically no tls have tranny problems

Theres a CTS-V and we drive normal at first until the CTS zooms by us and all of a sudden my bro goes into sportshift mode and that's what it sounded like... we won. nice vid. Yes he knows how to drive fast...
Wow, that sounds very nice. I haven't heard the tanabe's other than on a Civic (which sounds raspy and crappy). How do you like them? Definitely an all around nice deep tuned sound. I like.

its vtec and it kicks in at 14-15 sec not 13 .. you can hear tone changing...and congrats for your TL..

99-03 TLs had more problems than the newer ones. Even the 99s were better than the 00-03s b/c they have the 4spd, not the 5spd.

No, it was Acura TL, Acura CL, Honda Accord V6, and Honda Odyssey which had defective transmissions.
