Christianity is not just pulling verses from the bible. The pharisis (ferisawyan) in jesus time were knowledgable of the bible. But that didn't help them. Humble yourself brother. Repent for your sin rather than accusing orthodox christians. your belief is founded just 100 years ago by crazed white men. you are telling the world that the teaching of this crazed white men is the only way. learn that jesus has saved the world 2000 years ago and christianity exists in middle east, africa and asia.

And do you even know how the protestant church started..it was started by Martin Luther was didn't believe indulgence was correct. That means paying the priest and the preist would "put you to heaven."

I follow the teaching of Ethiopian orthodox church. The Ethiopian church and all the ancient churches in middle east, north africa and europe have similar teachings. which is the love of God, his son Jesus Christ and the holly Spirit. also the entire holy men and women who devoted their life to God are venerated. as jesus said, "who ever is mine will love and respect you"

Like I said, its is very old but not at times of the apostoles. The emporer of Ethiopia adopted it from Egypt years, years, years ago.
And the reason why Pentecostal is called pentecostal is because our church moves in the works of the Holy Sprit such as tounges speaking, healing, deliverance, and many more. Because when the Holy Sprit fell on the apostloes and was given power it was on the day of Pentecost.

Christ didnt come on this earth to build up "religion" but instead a realtionship with God.
Instead of having so much love for you religion how about having love for God because God says in the bible "if you love me you'll keep my comandments," and the greatset commandment of all is LOVE and its obvious you have a hatered in your heart for "pentayes" and not love which means you can't follow Christ with the way you are right now and please brother/sister make a change!

I love my anceint church. I'll never exchange her for nothing in the world let alone for pentecostalism that was created on Azusa Street Los Ageles USA in 1906. Tewahido was given to Ethiopia by Our lord Jusus thought his apostols centries ago!!. It's is not only our church but also our history and identity. It is a year since you addressed me. Sorry for all these times. One of the most intriging thing to me is Ethiopian tradition and specific religious practices are indistinguishable to some. But I believe I don't need any licence from anyone to be an Ethiopian. I am unashamedly Evangelical and proudly Ethiopian. The other point is I am not intent with expanding any religion but declaring the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. With respect.

Some Pentes believe Ethiopia needs to modernize in religion. A very dangerous outlook. There is no such thing as modern in Christianity, there is no new finds and/or proofs.
