His would be oldest son Jack, died at the age of 7 after touching an exposed wire, knocking himself out cold, and in a puddle of melting snow, he drowned.

Mike died of a drug overdose, Chris commited suicide, Kerry (known as the Texas Tornado) commited suicide, siting substance abuse issues. There's only one living Von Erich brother, Kevin.
