@ThreeEyedPea It's "mortar and pestle" actually. A mortar is a thick stone bowl to put the stuff to grind, and a pestle is a short and thick stone stick used for grinding the stuff. A mortar and pestle is most commonly used in cooking and in art.
Penny was also a character in her own short on the show "Pee Wee's Playhouse".
From Wikipedia: "A claymation short featuring a blonde girl with pennies for eyes, who described some situations in her life and daily activities, and seems to be modeled somewhat after Penny from [Inspector Gadget]. She would reappear later outside the show on public service commercials."
Keeping up with what is (unfortunately) part of the spirit of the comments, I hope things get better soon over there. Thank God you were not in its path.
On a (thankfully) different note, I noticed that NOBODY commented about the fact that the "audience" for the invent-off is a bunch of Mr. Game and Watches!
The Wii Remote has to have the buttons facing to the side, as some of them use the sensor bar. But for the ones that don't, you can use the Sketch Artist.
I use the Finger Food for all of them anyway, as that's within the spirit of the game.
I mean all of the ones that display "Finger Food." There's only one Microgame where I don't use the form they show, and that's "Clu Clu Land" for 9-Volt. The reason there is because if I use Elephant, the Wii Remote can't detect the sensor bar for some reason.
Can't wait for your next Wario Ware update, as I have been looking forward to the retro games for quite a while. I hope you get to a nice high number, as the more we get to see the better, the music is awesome too.
Hope the fires calm down there some, hate to see homes destroyed like that
I've already recorded it, and my high score there is 74.
The thing is--WarioWare IS a game where I know other people who play it (which is why you see records from multiple game saves), and I've tied the record. Someone else I know got a score of 74 earlier. I'll play through it some more and see if I can outdo that.
Chances are it'll show up in a future WarioWare game, considering the huge number of ideas they have to come up with for each game.
Have you seen the Nintendo Power article that shows how a WarioWare game is put together? A whole bunch of people brainstorm independently, then each of them submits in a Microgame idea about once every three days. A lot of work goes into each one.
I am good at that stage except Reset and Check,, ㅡㅡ;;

Penny Crygor isn't the only Penny in the world. It's used as a generic name in fiction for a smart little girl.

Awesome old lady.
CDub7888 3 years ago
Have you seen what else she says?
Overhazard 3 years ago
I'm usually focused on the microgames, so no, I haven't.
CDub7888 3 years ago
Ah. The Level 3 Microgames are always the most "out there" between them, so they're the most rich with non sequiturs and all that.
There are at least three things she says, though I can only remember the normal one, which goes, "Why hello, (name), what have you been doing lately?"
Overhazard 3 years ago
If I'm not mistaken, she also says "Training is very hard. We'll have to get started right now."
I absolutely love Level 3 games for their humor. I've even thought up some microgames with even weirder ideas than those.
