@ZEDZOR2 Gold panning is not a hobby for making a fast buck far from it, you will be lucky to cover your cost of fuel and food for the day. It’s about the beautiful places it will lead you to and the fresh air you breathe. However there’s nothing stopping you from making a piece of jewellery for family or a friend or if you are feeling very generous why not donate it to a museum. Good luck.

@richworldr4 The Buccleugh estates issue permits to pan for gold in the strreams around there ....£15 per year, free camping and last time I went pretty estate wardens.
