  • I watched it on Cloo, and its still a great show to watch, so many years later !! The show brings back my childhood..

  • Mannix is a great show. Cloo has it on right now. Back to back to back episodes. Mike Connors is great!

  • Great thanks to you Mike Connors-Mannix for your precious contribution in

the" Armenian Eye Care Project" , you were /are a most famous star to me

and for many Armenians who are so proud of you ; 83 years "young and green "!

God bless you good man with health ,youth and happiness .

  • Michael Weatherly (NCIS) just tweeted a pic of his golf foursome which included Robert Wagner and our dear Mannix. MC looks as good today as in this two-yr-old iview!

  • I love Mannix!

  • I met Mike C. back in 1977 and he was very down to earth nice guy. His birth name is Krekor Ohanian.

  • Damn!!! I hope I look that good at 83!

  • He dined in our restaurant in Laguna Beach in the 60's.

  • i first saw mike as touch connors in "shake rattle and rock" with sterling holloway , and fats domino

  • I don't know how true this is...I think I read it in the Globe newspaper and they had a picture of him they said he's in back shape...seems all the injuries from the show, he did a lot of fight scenes etc. but he certainly seem oks here.

I agree the show was a hit because here's a tough guy that also showed his emotions at times...he was like a real person to me watching him every week.

  • Character actor Gerald O'Loghlin played the crooked guard"Charlie"..Loretta Swit..played a photographer..who is being threatened by the mob.

  • O'Reiley kept trying to turn this into a conservative bullshit rap and Connors wouldn't have it. Connors at 83 could still whip a wimp like Bill.

  • yes. like it says mike connors IS mannix. it wasnt mike connors starring as mannix. mannix is the greatest show ever made. we were very lucky to grow up watching it .season 5 is coming out on dvd in july. make sur you get it.

  • Thank you for posting this.

  • Olive oil and garlic and hot spices in your cooking. That's what make 83 year old Armenians so young.

  • ALRIGHT!!!! Mannix was a show my mom would watch after sending me to bed. I remember hearing the music of this great T.V show. Thanks for posting this!!!

  • He looks like sean connery

  • Mannix put them all to shame.

  • Those of you who remember Mike Connors (ne Krekor Ohanian) from 'Tightrope', raise your hand.

  • Wow. A blast from the past as they once would say. One of those classic TV shows getting lost in the mist of time, a favorite of so many It's fascinating that was brought back, for a moment anyway, into the public eye. He's definitely a class act. Thanks for posting this.

  • Thanks for putting this up. I was so glad to see he's had a good life away from the negative influences that can be found in Hollywood and hit some hard. Love this show when I was a kid. I'd like to see it again.

  • weekly heroes...joe mannix,steve mcgarret,ironside....great TV

  • Mike Connors was THE BOMB!

  • I loved that show and because his peggy had the same name as i have.... I felt so important when I was a little girl lol ..... loved it ......

    these where great times

  • Mike Conner reprise his role in Dick Van Dyke TV series Diagnosis Murder & last played the great Private Detective in Nobody Knows anything. That movie I never saw but him in Diangnosis Murder I did see couple of times.

  • Mike Conners did a lot of his own stunts, often taking a lot of accidental "real" hits! Yeah he was a tough guy alright, pulling off trick moves before the WWF came along and sustaining the lumps which often were carried into the story line. He seemed to be always coming back to the office limping with bleeding cuts while Peggy had to patch him up! The "Real Men" of Hollywood are sadly fading away. We could use a few more politically incorrect tough guys to inject some manhood into Hollywood.

  • @TheEldoradoKid You are spot on. Good words.

  • Mike Conners, Jack Lord, Robert Conrad . . . men were men back then. Too many wimpy characters today. Jack Bauer picked up on the theme, now he's gone.

  • @spsward As Archie Bunker sang, "...girls were girls, and men were men..." Need I say more?

  • @spsward You forgot Bob Culp and Bob Vaughn. And Don Adams. Well, maybe ...

  • Great show and I am watching the DVD's now.

  • Mannix or McGarrett ? Those two Guys are awesome !!!!!!

  • Holy shit....I remember this show when I was a kid----I used to watch it with my Dad!!! Thanks for posting this.

  • awesome

  • He actually looks as though he could do Mannix today. He must've always have been in great shape. Afterall when he was doing so many action scenes in Mannix he was pushing 50. He seems like a great guy. No swelled head.

  • Wow he does look great for 83.

  • @imthedorf1964 I hope to look this good when I hit my eighties. I loved that show Mannix. The theme song was off the charts!!

  • They dont make cop shows like Mannix anymore

  • J'adore Mannix !!

  • Mannix was my HERO back in the late

    60's & early 70's....it's a ...."bummer"...I wish Mannix reruns on TV "NOW"...

  • I agree with you, yossar. One guy (Conners) has class. The other one is totally classless.

  • @greenpete58 How could you possibly inject politics into this? It was an innocent interview of an American actor many treasured. You are a moron.

  • @FylthyBeest I treasure Mike Connors too. It's O'Reilly that injects the politics. And resorting to name-calling like you just did only affirms how classless YOU are. You and O'Reilly deserve each other.

  • @greenpete58 Though I disagree with what you originally said, I do agree with you that name calling is inappropriate. I should not have done that and you have my apology.

  • Strange interview. Like watching Beauty and the Beast. The clown O'Reilly kept trying to theme the interview into a 'rail against the Hollywood elite' segment. Connors has too much class to be on FOX.

  • @yossar How could you possibly inject politics into this? It was an innocent interview of an American actor many treasured. You are a moron.

  • mike connors IS and always be mannix. the best show ever made on tv. mike IS THE class act. no question. we`love you mike and thank you for all the hapiness you gave us growing up watching your show. mike is not only a class act but a gentleman as well.

  • I painted the outside of his house at the lake this past summer. What a great guy, warm and friendly. His wife is really sweet too. Who would have known that while watching Mannix back in the 70's I would one day be painting his home?

  • Lucky guy. If you ever see Mr. Connors, please give him my best wishes.

  • @tallpaul521 Did you know him from sometime in the past? I am doing more work for him later this spring on his boat dock and I will relay any message.

  • @888kward Did not know him. I met him at the Magic Castle night club in Hollywood where I was appearing. I'm just a big fan and I want to wish him well.

Glad to hear that he's really as nice as he appears to be -- rare in the entertainment biz.

  • I will relay your "best wishes" to him. I am sure he will remember you.

  • @888kward

    Thank you!

  • @888kward Make sure he knows he still has LEGIONS of fans out here!

  • God I love Mannix. I am collecting the series now. He and Gail Fisher were something else.

  • Its so great to see this guy is alive and looks so well...I remember warching Mannix back in the 70's with my Grandad on channel 2 in Brooklyn. I really loved this show as a kid and the guest actors were on everything...going from show to show back then. I felt like I knew them all...

  • A young Dawn Lynn from"My Three Sons"was on that show.I wish that I knew the name of the young fellow who played"Toby Fair"..The son of "Mrs.Peggy Fair"..Ms.Gail Fisher's son?

  • Mike Conners was the best. He ran a tight ship on his show and had no room for nonsense. I read somewhere he ran numerous people off the set who weren't prepared for thier roles. Last I heard he campaigned for Ronald Reagan for President in 1984 but after that I haven't seen him hardly at all in anything.

  • Mannix was a great show...Mike is #1 !!

  • Thanks for adding this footage! I class act, great show and great actor.

  • I loved Mannix as a kid he was great in the part

they don't make im like they used too and I thought Peggy was cute.

  • @opencurtin Mike Connors, was, and still is, a class act!

  • I remember Mike Connors from a series called 'Tightrope' in the late 1950's.

(Uh-uh, don't figure out my age, LOL).

    Happy Thanksgiving.

  • Mannix is one of my favorite tv shows ever, and Mike Connors was, is, and always will be one classy guy! Thank you Mr Connors!

  • @albatani27 i loved this show.

  • go joe, sept 1967. i loved this show. joe hello to you. if you read this. does he have a web site. i grew up with you sat nights. i always rooted for you.

  • Fantastic! Thanks for putting this up! I loved Mannix...the lifestyle, the cars, Peggy...and Lalo Shifrins theme! That was the best. I have a copy!

  • Class act. Guy is in his 80's and looks in his 50's and acts in his 30's

  • im surprised that mannix didnt die from concussion if you watch he got knocked out every week haha

  • thats my uncle :]] no lie hope to go to hollywood and officially meet him there :]

  • The first season was weak in that he worked for Inteltech(?) and Joe Campanella. He needed Peggy!

  • Mannix was fantastic!

  • It looks like thier will be a 3rd dvd. I have season 2. Is season 1 worth it. I don't want to see Mannix with computers in season 1.

  • Mike Connors is a badass

  • This is my favorite show out of the detective 70's show. I hope they do a movie about Mannix. If they do, I want it to be a straight edge story, not a spoof.

  • I love Mannix. I have the 1st two seasons and am waiting for the 3rd on DVD to come out.

  • He does look good for 83.

  • Mike Connors makes an appearance on TV, and it has to be on the shittiest show ever. Great.

  • You have to be mistaken. Mike Connors wasn't on Keith Olbermann's show.

  • Bill O'Reilly is a sick racist who paid a co-worker $6 million after she taped his phone sex!

  • @Neville6000

that would have been Obermans show, this was O'Reilly

  • You're welcome!

  • Thanks for posting that! I was looking all over for it after my mom told me he was on there the other day! Thanks again!
