The four British shows for kids spoofed in this episode are:
Playaway- a wholesome (but not religious) variety show with songs and comedy
Take Hart- arts and crafts with the late Tony Hart
Jackanory- favourite stories read aloud by a variety of actors
Why Don't You?- suggested hobbies, games and pastimes presented by various gangs of youngsters, all from a particular city in the UK

This is so like kids tv shows in the 90's! They always would do random sketches with different job roles, and deliver a shit joke (and usually the occupation had nothing to do with the joke, which for a 5 year old was very confusing)
