im loving this thanks for posting it....does anyone remember the the four/six parter about long lost twins/?? it was aired just before children of greenknowe... i remember the start had a locket on it...if anyone does..wicked let me know..cheers i cant remember the title at all...........
Wow wow and wow again. This series is too good for words. I visited Belton House last year and saw the Moondial, Teddy Larkins grave, thats Tom short for Edward and Belton Church. There are no words to describe it. Thanks for posting this. Love, Minty x.
I've only just got the book, not read it yet, but if the sound of the cough was scripted in, Tom was dying from an infection that had got into his lungs. The cruelty was not just in the words and deeds, but also in where they were absent. Treatment would have been limited, but they did at least have remedies. You don't see too many doctors, though, do you? His outside work would also have aggravated the condition, as would many of his punishments. A powerful story, well-told.
Safe neighborhood then .. since she's left the door wide open with the key in the outside part of the lock
