I have taken art classes while I was in Highschool and I made some very creative works of art including a crocodile made from paper machet, newspaper, and wire tubing. As for the drawings I did those were also very creative and way better artwork then this puke. Art takes a lot of time and effort to make it look decent. This was clearly a rush job that lacked proper talent and expertise.

I will be honest but the gameplay was also not that good. Sure it wasn't bad but it was not good either. It was just average. It was a typical platformer that really did not have any unique or creative ideas going for it and it felt bland and cliched. The game was also very short. I beat it in only a couple of minutes. There are WAY better fangames out there then this one anyway. Ever play Toad Strikes Back or Mario vs The Koopas? Those are real fangames.

It has an interesting flavor to it. Some things look like they need a couple more frames and there are other minor details that would make it look better but overall, I think you did pretty good. (besides, regular platforming Mario games aren't really supposed to have very much of a story anyways)

This is how i make mine:

make the outline same color as that part of the object, just darker. fill it in a little lighter. Go to spray tool with pressure 1 size 10 and shade. TA-DA! easy good looking sprite.
