It sad like people walk away never came. I read an article in New York Times. That they are tearing it down because of all drug addicts that frequent this place. There was a group college of student who when there this summer to film a documentary. And found in drawers of some cottage stuck under or in between money, jewelry and many more things that was left behind. You would never think of, that there were hidden spots in house that no one found while living in abonded homes.

What a disgrace, spent a lot of time at Long Beach in the 60's and 70's. Fairfield County is one of the richest counties in America and Bridgeport is the largest city in Ct. Something is not right here, who owns the land?

Seriously disturbing footage you've captured. I used to go to Pleasure Beach as a child and remember how beautiful it was....fishing, the carousal....I can't believe how it looks now.

On my next trip down, I'll have to do some exploring there. Nice job on the vid.

Creapiest part? For me, it was exploring a yellow house at the end of the line, I THINK it was the least house before the radio towers. I cam in the living room and heard talking. Turns out, there was a telephone in there that was picking up radio signals from the towers, and someone PURPOSEFULLY left it off the hook! I took a photo of it, but I had tripod, so it was blurred beyond recognision. Got a lot of other photo's though.....maybe I'll make a video responce.
