  • dude that stang could keep up with some cobras off the line. i like.

  • I have the same set up on my 07 GT with exception of K&M instead of the C&L air intake. The custom tune recalibrates the speedometer to match the gear and tire size, so the speedo is correct in this video! My car runs the exact same. The rear gear, tune and C/A intake are really great power mods for the money. All three mods work great together. I had enough power to burn through the gears. I got some good tires and now it hooks up just like in this video.

  • Runs hard. Any 1/4 mile times yet?

  • how about, you keep your cars bob-standard and see who is the better driver in a REAL race!

  • im kinda suspicious of that sudden jump in speed after the shift into second gear

  • My 2007 mustang GT will do 0-60 in 2 seconds. All I have to do is recalibrate the speedo for different size tires. Of course this is cheating, and it gives you a false reading and I think that this fuck has done just that.

  • @shawnstam he put 4:10 gears in the car, so the 0-60 will be faster

  • @shawnstam its called steep rear gears dipshit

  • Im trying to figure out what mods I want to do to my 06 GT. Im pretty sure ill be doing a CAI, Tune, and LCAs but im not sure if I want to try the cheaper 4:10s or cams. Cams would give a nice idle and nice amount of power but the 4:10s would be a hell of a lot cheaper and have more jump off the line. Plus being able to spin them in 3rd sounds pretty sweet too.

  • how does ur speedomoter compensate for the change in gears??

  • @FoxQuadRider1225

Thats what I'm saying, I think it's not calibrated.

  • I am curious as to why gearing is offered with domestic cars and no import? Why do they not just use one set of gearing, like the 4.10's the best there is and leave it at that, I am sure that is why import does not have the options, they just have the top ones already.

  • @jmcle884 imports can do gear swaps as well, they are not just for domestics. and the reason not all cars come with 4.10's is due to their high rpm's at highway speeds, which cuases you to burn more fuel. there is no "best" gear. it all depends on what the enthusiast is looking for. steeper gears are great for off the line launches where as lower gears are great for top end. cars dont come stock with 4.10's mainly for the fuel consumption. trust me imports dont come with the best gears already

  • @boosted05stang Cool mate, good info.

  • Nice run, pretty much on par for my stock Bullitt.

  • are you hitting 4th gear?! if you are you should really set your rpm limiter higher. I basically have the same setup and it doesn't take nearly this long to hit 90

  • That's every bit of 5 sec.

  • it be a little better if 2nd gear was a little less steep so you wouldnt only be in 2nd for like 1sec lol, my buddy has 4.10s in his 5speed auto too

  • I wonder what it tops out at lol.

  • having a manual, i like hitting 60 in 2nd gear with the 3:55s but with light bolt on 4:10s are the way to go

  • on the second shift watch the speedometer jump from 35 to 45 . thats some shit.

  • @cison100 This is a little late (5 months late) but you're kind of an idiot for saying that. The tires were spinning.

  • @cison100 tires supn idiot

  • @cison100 eat shit your mustang sucks!!! You were probably running over a freakin kangaroo.

  • i bet u have fun when the traffic light turns green :)

  • did you take it to the 1/4

  • sounds like you'd be alot quicker to 60 if u get some good rubber on the back, all i heard was tire speak up to like 30 mph lol

  • mine goes to 60 in 7 second lol

  • I just got my mustang gt 07 like 2 days ago.. all i gotta to say is WoW! its my dream car

  • u still ride the bus u cant even afford a mustang. now after u finish sucking your grandma's tit go back to your room in the basement and fantasize about owning a mustang gt u scrub.

  • damn dude.. whats up with all this hate.... its called working... something that u apparently dont know about XD.. go fuk ur sister redneck

  • "whats with all the hate" thats what u live for right? thats what u get off to buddy. you leave hateful messages on youtube vids and get offended when u get a taste of your own medicine. i swear the nerve of hypocrites.

  • well if you going to quote me... doing the right way.And get the fuck of my dick! i have the car, why does it matter for u. gosh! stupidity is every where on the internet.

  • i plan on trying one of these but i heard they will get away from you easy in even the slightest bit of rain due to the live rear as well as the v6.... is this true if so how bad is it!?!? i live in md fyi

  • @chestax i have an 06 GT and i live in washington, i got the car 2 weeks ago and it has been raining just about every day for the past 4 weeks, i've been driving it just fine in extremely wet conditions. the only times it's got away from me is when i turned traction control off and floored it.. but i was doing that on purpose ;)

  • koo thats helpful

  • I have an '07 GT and yes it is easy to get from under you if you drive it like you stole it (Like I do)...but with experience and knowledge of how the car handles...you'd be alright...

  • i own the same car and driving in the rain SUCKS, u really have 2 be careful lol... and don't get me started on the snow

  • put winter tires...real winter tire not those stupid mud ans snow 4 season things...up here snow tires are mandatory, its a law....

  • @aobb223 I own an 07 GT and I switched to Goodyear Eagle GT's and they are SO MUCH better than the Perellli's the Mustang came with. Give them a look when you're choosing some new tires, you won't be disappointed.

  • @jakesilv will do. my car doesn't have traction control so that may hurt my performance in the rain as well lol.

  • @aobb223 - I pretty much always turn mine off, unless it's raining or I'm driving in the snow which is very rare. I was really surprised that Ford would put such a poor tire on the Mustang GT. How come you don't have traction control?

  • @jakesilv lol i honestly don't know... i have the 2008 pony package and i guess traction control was an option my dad din't want to pay for.. and yes i know its a v6 but i put some serious work into it that makes it a more respectable road warrior

  • @aobb223 - American Muscle did a V6 Mustang Project car and was able to get a lot of horse out of the engine on the cheap. You should check it out. They did exhaust, CAI & tune, and added a wet nitrous kit. I was pretty impressed.

  • @jakesilv haha i know all about american muscle man. every single product i've bought for my car has been from that website. so far i have cold air intake stage 2, bbk 70mm throttle body, throttle body spacer, and an sct 93 race tune. the dash scan says i have about 290 horsepower which i'm quite happy about. next week i'm going to purchase 3.73 gears to get my acceleration better. have u done any work to your car?

  • Hell yeah, 12 second mustang right here. bitches. Nice work!

I have the same mods, but I only run high 13's (4500ft altitude though, so that's why)

  • i got about 35 horses out of my tuner+CAI combo and the 4.10 gears are one of the funnest upgrades i've made. great choice.

  • i got lucky and got 3:55s and not 3:31s lol

  • Chyea! Got an 09 GT a few months ago, I haven't had the money to do anything but an axle back to it though. Next up is tune + CAI for sure =D

  • Definitely do that! There's a lot of untapped potential in these cars with just a tune. Have fun with the ride!

  • A bamachips 93 octane tune is like a reflash of the ECU. It changes a lot of computer settings and with these modern cars, most modifications, especially to the intake and exhaust will require a tune. The tune will also changes stuff like shift points, throttle response...etc. Very worth it.

4.10 gears means the gear ratio of your rear-end. It means for every 4.10 turns of the drive shaft you're tires spin once. High number like this means you'll "feel" more torque.

  • The description says MODS: C&L Cold Air Intake Bamachips 93 octane tune Ford Racing 4.10 gears. Not even the owner said it was stock....

  • its the gears...you can get a LS1 in the 11's with a stock motor.

    Just stall, slicks, and suspension

  • stall, slicks, and suspension? With NO motor mods? Not even exhaust, intake, mods of that sort? If so, no way IN HELL an LS1 will run 11s like that.

  • @karlmalone11

I've seen LS1 F-Bodies pull up to the strip with a good Stall, gear, and headers and place High 10's in a 1/4.

  • @voultar that's total BS, i'm sorry, but do you realize how much power a 10 second quarter mile takes? Even with slicks, it needs an extreme amount of power. And a 4 speed automatic LS1 camaro with around 400-450hp will NEVER run 10s. Period.

  • @karlmalone11

No, no it's not impossibly be any means. I suggest you reference some quarter mile material for all LS1/LT1 applications. It certainly isn't UNCOMMON for a Bolton/Stalled LT1/LS1 car to run high 10s.

    I have a bolton/cam LS1 M6 that runs 11.58 in in a Quarter Mile. That's with a set of MT ET Streets.

  • yea, sum ppl really need to learn how to read the fucking vid descriptions before making a complete fool of them self by posting sum stupid ass comment. . .

when will they learn, the description is ur friend!

  • i timed 4.6! O_O

  • Seems like everyone has an automatic these days. yuck

  • I am told that 2 out 3 mustangs made are automatics

  • thats bull when i was looking to buy one everything was stick i would say 3/4 are stick

  • when all the people are buying automatics , that only leave the Stang that have sticks left!

  • b ecause the automatic mustangs are faster...besides no one wants to shift every time now instead id rather just let the car do it and hold a coffee in my hand

  • haha no they're not buddy auto's come with 2.93's and sticks come with 3.55's. plus if your a good driver you can shift faster than an auto. AND there is less parasitic decay on a manual.

  • 2.93? Are you retarded...all Mustang GTs come with 3.31s (Yes even the manuals people) The Premium GT had an optional 3.55 gearing and in 2010 now a 3.73 gearing option.

  • automatic mustangs aren't faster than manuals. Get your facts straight.

  • Great

  • what is a octane tune someone tell me

  • not a big ford fan but stang gt's are ffaaasstt :)

  • This video is real life, get over it.... mustangs respond very well to mods and gears :)

  • o shit, 4.8? nice!

  • holy SHIT

you got through 3rd a hell of a lot quicker with the new gears.

i think i just might do that to mine

  • that's pretty quick

  • wait now if u change gears, isn't the speedometer off a few miles an hour???

  • there is no way thats all thats done to that car.

  • you my friend need to read a dictionary and get some education before you start talking

  • Thank you. But I have, and I guarantee I know more about mustangs than you.

  • hmmm...mayyybee..maybe not...but thats completely irrelevant to the fact that you need an education

  • Again you make a fool out of yourself. I have an excellent education. I never asked for your opinion in the first place, so go mind your own damn business.

  • that is actually that's all done to the car.....what's so tough to believe? 0-60 on a stock auto gt is around 5.1-5.2 seconds, and he has 4.10s and an intake and tune....completely believable he dropped around 4 tenths with those mods.

  • agreeed with Karlmalone......gears do make a big difference, plus the other mods

  • He would if you didn't say stupid things.

You just don't know shit of what you are talking about here.

A 05+ MustangGT with 4.10's and a CAI/TUNE will run 0-60 times like shown in this video easily.

Owning one myself with these exact mods is a second witness to the truthfulness of the claim here.

Your "education" didn't teach you to keep your mouth shut when you don't know shit about a subject.

This world is littered with idiots. Stop being on eof them.

  • thats good. now throw some exhuast on that bitch and you'll be cookin.

  • like the name.

  • thanks.

  • ever taking this to a track with and without the 4.10s? and does it make a big difference? and how much did it cost for all?

  • YOu have almost the EXACT SAME SET UP AS I DO, except I have hi flow cats. Check out my cars LS2 GTO kill. It consistantly runs faster than they do stock or lightly modded.

    watch?v=R13AfvDJoQk

  • yummy =]

  • very nice, and sounds good

  • impressive
