I saw version of this where the little bats had tiny signs saying "On Strike" it was great, something the adults could enjoy!

I remember in my "Five Sesame Street Stories" VHS tape, the Count's bats do the counting instead of the Count, and in it the bats talk in high-pitched Chipmunk-like voices instead of the whiny voices they have in this one :P

Luckily the bats got to count as well as The Count, and therefore they weren't on strike anymore.

They got to count alright, but they sure as heck didn't get to laugh and provoke the thunder and lightning that usually occurs with the Count's laughs.
