  • what brand strings are you using?

  • awesome cover bro!!

  • No, we don't use sweet as or dirty as, we generally would throw some noun at the end of it to give it some context : ) I wish we said heaps, it would be heaps quicker than saying a lot or very...Although, the first time I heard someone say that something was more dear than something else, I was heaps confused, took me a while to figure that in Aussie lingo dear=expensive.

  • Heaps is one I like, as is something like sweet as or dirty as, like you just said.

  • I'm from Colorado, USA. My grandpa was born in Honolulu, though. Yeah, Aussie lingo might have been an easier way to put it : ) Anyways, I like Aussie lingo and I hope one day to go to Australia and build my vocabulary of Aussie lingo...

  • When someone uses a phrase or word, such as heaps in the way you used it, that would have me believe that they are indeed Australian, such as what just happened here. No harm was meant, I like Australians and I very much want to go to Australia someday. I meant Aussie English in the same way that one might say someone is speaking American English or British English or bad English : )

  • My cousin had a friend she met in Australia stay at the house for 2 weeks and she said heaps a few times. (I would've said she said heaps heaps, but that might've been confusing...) I've never been to Australia, but I like pointing out usages of Aussie English : )

  • Heaps! Are you Australian?
