@MrClassicDoctorWho Cheers :) Very much appreciated, shooting in black and white was a possibility for a while but we went with colour for various reasons, mainly being we would have more freedom to make Kembel look more alien through colour correction, the original version having the advantage to bring in unique plant props. I did make a point of desaturating everything except green in most shots though :)
I liked seeing what you have done with this episode, and recreating it. Perhaps you could get the audio version of the Dalek Masterplan and use William Hartnell's voice along with an actor who could look like the first Doctor.
It worked for Darth Vader. In the classic trilogy David Prowse was Darth Vader, but his voice was played by James Earl Jones. Jones also was Vader's voice when Hayden Christansen was in the suit. Could be something to think about.
Hi! Would you and your fellow filmmakers like to be part of a massive film project? I have a plan to bring together some of the most talented Doctor Who fan film writers, designers, effects people, directors, producers and more in a massive collaborative effort and pool their genius toward a single end. If you'd like to be a part of it, please get in touch!
They didnt 'lose' the episodes accidently. They wiped the tapes of them because they simply didn't have enough space to keep them. Though, this is very good. The costumes are spot on, just like Brett from TDM costume. The sound is a bit out of sync though.
So heres what happend. I went along to the WHO Shop in East london [mighty fine place lol] and saw [on audio CD] The Daleks Master Plan. I had to have It. I began with Mission to the Unknown [last night] and loved it soooo much. I wanted to murder the peeps at the BBC for destroying it. But I thought maybe [just maybe] some fans out there some were might have remade the greatest WHO stroy ever. and u did. thanks guys.
This is cool and you chose the perfect one - I have Galaxy 4 as a script book and The Myth Makers as an audiobook but I wish some could be animated to fill in missing episodes and some just re enacted like you guys did. Ultimate fan video.
you guys have created without a doubt the best Doctor who fan video of youtube. The acting, staying true to the orignal material, the production, and special effects all are spectacular.
I wish you had a William Hartnell and/or Patrick Troughton clone so you all could redo all the other missing episodes.
Well done, lot of effort. Now your going to go on and do Marco Polo right? Use Poser 7 and make a CGI William Hartnell and you guys play the rest of the roles, there ya go!
It's very thrilling to see a young group of people with this much enthusiasm, dedication and talent resurrecting lost gems from the vaults. It was extremely well made! I really enjoyed it. Definitely 5 stars.
i like the fact that at 7.50 he's wearing sneakers

@GamerXP11 I still wear those shoes, turning into a plant didn't stretch them too far out of shape to be unusable fortunately ;)

Very, very good. However, next time, I would put it in black and white, but not biggie. Still, wonderful!

Its all looks very nice, the sound is a little tricky to make out at times, but I think that's very much part of 60's who.
It all seems very well put together, one or two rehearsals wouldn't have gone a miss, but a very professionally, well put together project!
