He is good. Most of his speed seems to be dependent on his arpeggios, which for any keyboardists worth his salt is a pretty standard skill. Yes I know I will get the typical lets see you do it I do responses. Well yes I do have video of me doing just that. however I do not over use the arpeggios in my solos.

Technically brilliant. Sometimes one carefully thought out note outweighs a thousand others.... If he slowed down, he would be wonderful..... Amazing skill but too busy. Emotion is required.

good for the first 30sec then it all sounds exactly the same, its not all about how many notes can be played per second,its about feeling.

it sounds like shredding on a guitar and most people don't like guitar shredders for the same reason.

it must get boring playing the same runs all the time, make it interesting for yourself and to the listener and do something different.

type in jordan rudess and you will see what i mean, he's the best player in the world

I know exacly what you mean....I play fast only to improve my hands but i don't like to do only that...I prefer compose new age and electronic music,with research of harmony and in my composition I don't do solos,i don't like.I prefer jens johansson.Thanks for your comment!
