I remember I attacked one of the NPCs by accident, I think it was a female Diaboli or something, and she killed me in one blow! XD Sucked. And the first time an NPC chased me, I freaked out! XD

i wanna play plaeshift but it doesnt work :/ well the RP server anyway. when i try to log in it said SERVER FAILED and i cant log in but the non ro works :( any1 know y?

@MatiasBeast You have to register first at the website. You register under the RP server or the non rp server from the main website, then use that registration to enter PS from your computer (the downloaded program)

@KeepitReal48 the thing is i already did register. I even resent the activation letter and activated again and tried making a new account. but the non rp server works for me. both serers worked on my older laptop, now i have a windows 7 and it does not work...

@MatiasBeast Their bandwidth is donated, so sometimes the servers go down. Right now I'm having the same problem with the non-roleplaying server, and I'm getting pissed off. XD

Almost all of Blizzard's games have been extremely popular; in fact, Starcraft (the original), made some ten years ago, is still one of the most popular RTS games of all time. The entire Diablo series itself was extremely popular, so much so that it revolutionized the genre entirely... The reason WoW was so popular to begin with was the fact that it was made by Blizzard, thus creating a snowball effect as more plays began to play and got their friends to play. W/O any competition WoW monopolized

Nope never finished it, its more like an open source project now. I don't even think they ever implemented combat... at least on any level that matters.

If they would work on deciding exactly how they want combat to work, implement and real pvp system of some kind they might do better.

I really liked the dragon people or whatever they were called. The setting reminded me of Planescape Torment a little bit, if you like that you might also like Spellborn, which has the same feel...almost the same plot.

Only if you can stand older graphics and simplistic at best, vibrance in the world. The game itself is pretty hard and realistic, and for that its much better than many others, IMHO.

@holysab7 erm... that wouldnt even make sense, since games workshop made many insanely popular strategy games (dawn of war etc.) and made alot of attempts to make an mmo, but failed until the new warhammer online, plus Bioware made star wars galaxies which ultamately failed since they have made alot of world wide bestsellers ( mass effect, dragon age:origins etc.) but blizzard only made mildly popular games like diablo, but had quite the hit with warcraft 3, but that wouldnt really be enough

Warhammer Online was made by Mythic EA, and is, in fact, a huge fail. Star Wars Galaxies was made by SOE NOT Bioware. And Diablo was MILDY popular??? You, sir, are a douche.

The community for this game looks really small. Is it worth playing if you intend to play in a party/guild, like me?

Most of the time there is like, 300 people playing at the same time all day. Many of the players are pretty friendly. Also, PlaneShift is a RolePlaying game so you gotta roleplay most of the time (or join the other non RP server that has like, 100 people playing at once). It may seem like a small place, there are lots of guilds that serve different purposes (Like trading, fighting, mining, etc..). So yea, I think you might like it. Hope this helped =)
