The problem with a giant in the NBA is the motor. Speed, coordination and stamina are taken away by the energy required just to try to play at that speed. I hope he does get a role on an NBA team someday though he is fairly well proportioned and coordinated to begin with.

Since he's living in the US I can't really see what harm it would do...a day to be measured, a few days in London being "unveiled" etc etc. and then he'd be largely left alone again. Having said that, Neil Fingleton was 27 when he was officially measured, so he'd clearly been taller than Chris Greener (the previous holder) for years before being confirmed...so it's not that suspicious.
