awesome! just want to know what you mean by "they resample a hell of a lot" ? just the terminology, i'm trying to create music and want to learn stuff! :)
Hopefully you can help me here, when i take the wobble that i created and i place it as one note on the piano roll it does'nt follow through with the entire wobble its just one continuous yuuuuuuhhhhh sound, the only way i can get it to follow through with the entire wobble is if i hold the key down, how do i fix this?
@iamTHELP@iamTHELP do you have a midi? if you do just play notes on it (make sure its plugged in lol) if you dont have a midi use your keys on your computer. if noise still wont come out go to file in the top left side, go to audio and midi settings, go to the audio section and go to driver and click on WASAPI (shared mode). Also go to file, audio and midi settings again and in the midi section see if the name of your midi is there if its there go to the right were it says off and switch it on.
Good tutorial mate, didn't think it was rubbish at all
and to the guy that said that there is a thing called a pause button on the youtube player, not sure if you've heard of it, but google it, it might help you break the video up and do it as slowly as you so desire
When I load Datsik 1 preset that you provide, it doesn't sound like the one in your video at all. Can it be because of my massive version? Also I tried to make the sound from scratch and it didnt sound like yours at any point...
@Tasbo1982 yeah it worked for your sound. but it doesn't seem to work with the other sounds I tried to do from scratch from tutorials...oh well. Also, what's the best way (the most professionnal one) to "automate" your wobble ratio and pitch so it changes through your song? Making many clones of the same sound with different pitch/ratio doesn't give me much flexibility in my opinion.
@Silvertf2 OK, maybe you need to do the same with them- its really important to play them in the right key. Lots of people make this mistake so all of my future tuts will say exactly what key and octave they're being played in. Feedback is always useful, so thanks for that. You need to click configure, then massive opens, then click on the lfo ratio, then close massive - then you have a green slider - you can automate that (this is in ableton btw) for pitch use thhe mod wheel whilst recording.
Hey I've got a problem with my massive: When I create a wobble bass and I press my keyboard to play notes it sounds nice and there's a wobble. But if I create a melody in piano roll it's just a straight sound. Any help guys?
Nice tutorial I don't have Massive yet but will be grabbing the software soon. I've been interested in creating something similar to the sound you created in this tutorial.
this tutorial is pretty rubbish... need to zoom in so people can see what you are doing, or slow down. your like "put 5 in hereherehereandhere" and then you move on. people cant follow that.

@xSKOOBSx Well you did call my tutorial rubbish - I think that's a little disrespectful, but I taske your point - it is difficult to follow, that's why I included the free patch for people to download if they couldn't follow the tutorial. i would like to set different lfo rates, like 1/4 1/8 1/12 1/24?
in native instruments/reaktor/lazerbass you can click on the snap button
on some basses and it will set rated lfo speeds to 1/4, 1/8 etc. to the knob
and not the whole lfo range
