Yeah but then I remember seeing the 3 Stooges in concert twice in Canada in the mid sixties in which Moe told kids not to poke each other in the eyes like they saw in their movies as it had caused some kids to go blind as their friends poked them in the eyes way too hard. Also assumeing that kids hitting other kids over the head with chairs, boards and so on must have hurt some kids down the road. I don't know when this piece was filmed but I know what I heard
Oh how I am a Stoogies fan Thank you for posting a great classic. You have given me such a rare gift that was before my time and I appreciate it. Again Thank You!
@SFBMcKillaX219 Actually that was Moe's wife! And she had her revenge later on, he came back to the front row for a kiss and she hit him in the face with a pie.
TV is missing comedians on this calibur. Moe was far funnier than these 70s comedians but LIGHTYEARS funnier than the street bums we have as "comedians" now.
The worse part is we are missing the PEOPLE that find variety entertainment and slapstick comedy like this funny. Hollywood spoiled us with TOO MANY YEARS OF SHITTY ENTERTAINMENT.
Good old Moe. He beat the hell out of Shemp,Curly and Larry through the years. It's no wonder they all died of strokes. How anyone could endure all the ball pin hammers and crowbars to the head all those years is incredible. Moe was a sadist
@superkryp13 I don't think she'd agree, that's his wife, Helen Howard! And Moe said he got about 500 letters about hitting her with a pie, some of them saying 'you should be ashamed of yourself', but Helen got back at him another time when he came out for a kiss and she pied him in return.
If you know anyone who feels bad that Moe Howard is dead, that Soupy Sales is dead, that Mike Douglas is dead (just about everyone is dead these days), have that person watch this video. They'll feel better after seeing it.
I remember this show, was around 8 or when it aired.
And more importantly, what a GREAT way for Moe's last days to play out...just as popular as he was when he first started out half a century ago with his brothers and Larry.
Thank God someone recorded this piece of history for me to re-live, and for new Stooges fans to enjoy.
Sit tight, Moe and crew, we'll all see you again someday, RIP and God Bless :-)
Mmmm... no. That would make her in her mid forties, at the time of this filming. Mike Douglas would be as old as Moe is here, if he were alive. I think Soupy is a bit older than Mike, and he recently died about 80 something. The bikini chick would be in her late fifties, somewhere abouts.
"Maha--Yaha!" Curly simply said "Ah-Ha!" "Ya-ha" was a comic phrase used a lot in comic sketches in the early 1970s --especially on Mike Douglas Show.
Aw man it's so wonderful to see these clips. One thing is for sure - age never diminished Moe Howard's ability to make people laugh. I'll always love the Stooges and know that they will never lose their appeal with young and old alike.

Moe Howard. Comic genius!! I love seeing him out of his "stooge" element, just as much as I loved seeing him IN his stooge element.
