  • wow! thank you so much i appreciate it alot...

  • hey i seen your video and it inspired me to do the same.. i have the same camera, lens and adapter but my lens is 75-300mm. my problem is the adapter mounts to camera but lens do not mount to adapter. is it because its a quantary for pentax 75-300 instead of 85-210 the reason your same adapter MD-M4/3 ?

  • @jacqueline4harrell The Pentax mount is different from Minolta so you need a different adapter.

You need a micro 4/3 to Pentax since your lens has a Pentax mount.

You can even have the exact same lens but with different mount.

You probably need eBay item number 220746219174 is about 16$ Pentax PK mount to micro 4/3 just paste the number on eBay search field and you will see the product.

  • Hi! I got a Quantaray 85-210 mm Macro lens and I wonder if I can use it with my Nikon D40. What adapter do I need! Thank You!

  • @josesotelo You did not mentioned what mount you have on your lens it can be anything on mine is a Minolta MD mount and my camera uses a micro 4/3 so I got an adapter from Minolta to M4/3.

You can have the same lens as me but with a different mount if is with the same mount I do not think you can find an adapter for Nikon even if you find one it will not focus to infinity or you will need one with optical elements inside that will degrade the quality and be expensive.

  • Thanks for replying, I did look on eBay and yes they were pretty cheap infact i'm thinking of buying one I did watch part two of your video and I'd have to say that the inbuilt lens hood is a damn good idea Keep up the good work

  • Nice video I got the same camera where did you get the lens you used? and is this lens good for filming fast moving objects such as aircraft?

  • @kurtzy04 The lens is from eBay you can see more detail about the lens in part two of this video it was low cost about 60$ including shipping and other three lenses but only this and another 28mm was good.

The lens has a max aperture of 3.8 so it will probably work for aircraft but I did not tried. I'm not so much an expert but probably for video an image stabilisation will be good but much more expensive.
