I dunno. The Super Nintendo has some amazing soundtracks. Check out the soundtrack from Donkey Kong Country 2 for proof of how awesome the SNES was at producing brilliant sounds.

Snes games were all pretty much the same. In fact i can't tell this game apart from thousands of other drab, unbelievably overpriced, amateurish sounding, complete in 1 day platformers on the snes. Long live the Amiga!
I personally thought the AtariST was way more rad than the Amiga.
You can't deny that the SNES is one of the greatest and most loved 16bit machines.
I can't think of a console with more charming platformers, bursting with personality. Super Mario World, Yoshis Island, Donkey Kong Country 1, 2 and 3 just to name a few.
Plus, if you like platforming games, then I have three words for you... Earthworm Jim (maybe that's two words!)
@shinynewjb Well, everything that you stated are opinions I found SMW,DK123 to be some of the most unoriginal platformers ever made (go to the right, jump on enemy's, grab some useless collections on the go)
and it pisses me off that Nintendo get most of the Retro love & incorrect \ undeservedly praise (like saving the industrie world wide) just because of that nintendo still exist today as a hardware manufacturer thus having a phafectic fanboy base (every kind of pathetic fanboy is ;) ).
To say that Super Mario world is going to the right is just going to the right is insulting. That game has so many hidden exits, alternate routes and secrets. They took hours on end to find first time around. Plus, I said charming. The reason I enjoy Nintendo's retro games so much is because of all the effort that went into hiding secrets and such in the games. Ocarina of Time being another fantastic example.
@shinynewjb Woeps, I've forgotton about that, but it was still a very basic platformer because the secret exits are just a hidden second path in your adventure to jump to the other side of the level and those exits are mostly shortcuts (why skip your 50 euros game?) .and sometimes they are just going back to another area you already have gone trough ! grrr.. but the hidden forest section was awesome with this concept !
@retronostalgic Obviously never had a SNES, play chronotrigger, dkc2, or Final Fantasy IV. Hell music on Mr.Nutz has a dream/ mystic more feeling then the one on amiga. The music Mr nutz for amiga is what you'd expect from a squirrel wearing a hat and vest. I remember when I had an amiga, I had to worry about the games crashing on me. Even all those troubles I agree with you amiga was great but you have to have a 16bit console on the side with it.
@Fuglykirby - True the snes was good, but the games were hideously overpriced for what they were in my opinion - Given the choice between the two i'd choose the Amiga as it had cheaper and more varied games and you could do computery stuff with it if you wanted...
I remember this! But I had it on GBC. The levels seem to be exactly the same. The only difference being at 01:60 you can go left and pick up an extra life/restart thing...
I laughed. Heh-heh "Woody Land", it won't sound funny to a little kid but if you're a teen or preteen, it sounds hillarious. I can't get over they named the first level "Woody Land".
Ah. I had a lot of sound issues with these videos but they turned out better when compressed. You're probably right having heard both though. I'll get around to the genesis version soon enough =) (personal use, more videos would be redundant on my part =P ).
level 1-3 is PISSSSING me the hell off

Obviously the Amiga version had much better music. (Sound wasn't the megadrive or snes's strong point)...

I heard this game was released in Japan also. This game looks like a game that was made in America but it was also released in Japan?
