Oh please. Swearing is just words. THere are also passages in the bible that command not eating swine. but people do it anyway. After all anything like freakin' could be considered an obscenity. It means the same thing it's just a substitute! Besides, it was probably just a slip of the tongue and he was trying to play it off.

@Isawdinosaurs Coming from a Christian who doesn't like swearing, there are passages in the Bible, such as Ephesians 4:29, where Christians are commanded NOT to swear. However, sadly, many people disregard this, going with what's popular and accepted. But you're right, Christians aren't supposed to swear or take the Lord's name in vain. Unfortunately, there are those who pay no attention and continue to swear. :/ Kind of a bad image for Christianity. Here's one that doesn't, though! :)
