I'm not saying this guide got it right in the clip (clearly not!), but nor was he deliberately trying to induce a charge. Other guides on the trip were very careful not to antagonise.

When dealing with how close is to close common sense says if the herd is all around you and only yards away your life is in danger! Obviously you were way to close because an elephant flipped your car and who put you in that danger zone well your guide of course!

jk, this was pretty intense. I'd flip out (literally) if I was in a land rover and got charged by a huge elephant. Good thing no one was harmed, other that the land rover..
