  • It makes me cry...Maura! That must be some of you!

  • As much as I would adore to see Delta Queen be returned to regular overnight river cruises, I am so very thankful that she is here in Chattanooga right now! I LOVE everything steamship and steamboat. I am an aspiring photographer and the beloved Delta Queen has become my absolute FAVORITE photo subject! I've just entered a contest hoping I can win a night's stay aboard her and breakfast the next morning. She has a very rich history and I can feel it every time I'm aboard!

  • is this ship haunted i heard rumors of it is this true

  • Good video but Chattanooga is not her home. It's her final resting place. Her home is either Sacramento, Stockton, or San Francisco CA.

  • @lzbvl6 If she were that important to California, then some group out that way should have paid her way through the Panama Canal to return and lie next to the Delta King as another hotel. They were named for the California Deltas and not the Mississippi Delta but that is where she got her fame. She should still be carrying passengers overnight.

  • @lzbvl6 Hopefully it will be Cincinatti Ohio soon and she will return to the rivers where she belongs

  • Sorry, thats not her home. Her home is as an active overnight riverboat...not as a hotel.

  • Glad to see the Delta Queen in Chattanooga. With mixed, feelings I hope she has a good long stay on the North Shore. My only regret is that she is not out churning up the open water like she was made for.
