@Blunper small tanks require more work, I have a 45 ltr and a 400 ltr marine tank and for the 45 ltr one I do weekly water changes and for the 400 ltr one I change the water every 3-4 weeks. This is because the smaller tanks become more dirty quicker.
you using a skimmer?
