  • lame explanation, i understood nothing

  • This is a fantastic instructional video! Thank you!

  • This game is awesome.

  • thanks for the great summary.

  • what happens when you have an empty hand?

  • We often play this game with more than 2 players actually. With three players you simply give a penalty of 15 points for an expedition and draw 6 cards to start instead of 8. Playing with 4 the penalty becomes 12 and the number drawn 5.

The most interesting variation we did was with 4 in teams of 2, kinda like bridge. So team members sit across from each other. As a team you work together on series. So the penalty is back to 20 and handsize is 5 cards.

  • In the scoring section you missed the fact that if you use 8 or more cards in an expedition you get a bonus 20 points (the bonus 20 is added after any multiplication for handshakes is done)

  • Scott's reviews are awesome, but did he spit on the floor in the middle of this at 5:41? LOL

  • I really like lost cities it is one of the first 2 player games that i got and it really got me hooked on them, i didn't think they could be so fun to play.

  • medej9 or anyone, Can you recommend any other two player games that you've tried and really like? Thanks

  • Check out Jambo

  • Scott-Great job as ever. I particularly liked your 32 min video summing up the diff games!

  • Hey Scott, you're awesome and so are your videos. I noticed on BGG you have a Wii Friend code... are you getting Super Smash Bros. Brawl? If you are I'd love to play you!

  • LoL. I love how you dubbed over the counting on the cards. Great stuff, I just wish more people would make video tutorials so people can learn games without having to read and can just dive right in.

  • Good job, you know many good games.

  • According to the National Enquirer, author Ian Fleming patterned James Bond after Dusko Popov, a real life Serbian double agent nicknamed "Tricycle".

  • Your vids are great Scott. Just don't call my miniatures dolls XD

  • Gave me some interest in a gave I'd never have heard of otherwise. Good Job. I might look into the game.

  • I love the creative beginning to this one (another favorite is the beginning of the Power Grid video). Keep up the great work Scott!

  • Great review of lost cities. I bought this game for me and my wife and we've loved it from the get go. Simple rules and extremely addictive game play. Thanks Scott!

  • Scott, you are the man. I don't have an interest in board games or anything like that, but i have the upmost and sincere respect for anyone who can stand up and devote this much time into a subject they enjoy. Keep on doing what you're doing and don't let anyone who may decide to 'flame' you etc, get you down. I wanna find more vlogs.
