Picked up Revlon color stay for normal to dry skin today :) Oh my god, I was so amazed when I came home after a long valentines celebration and my makeup was still about as perfect as when I left the house. Finally found a foundation I'm in love with, after I topped it off with a tiny bit of bare minerals foundation it left my skin looking so beautiful! Next purchase will be bisque.

here are somethings that I look for in face make up: will not break me out (fragrance and oil free), wont make my dry patches stand out or oily tzone more oily, medium-full coverage that isnt to cakey or un-natural looking, lasting power, concealer I can use on all areas of my face, powder to set and add a little extra natural coverage, and not ridiculously pricey! help me!

*Previous comment continued* I have also tried high-end foundations, a couple I liked (not loved) are laura mercier silk cream foundation and makeup forever hd foundation. the silk cream foundation was just to thick and mask like, but a beautiful foundation. i just felt like my skin couldnt breath! and the mufe hd is beautiful as well, but breaks me out, oxidizes on my skin after a few hrs, and makes me a shiney greasy mess.

Hi Emily! I have combination skin, but my cheeks are very red (very, very red), that I've had since birth and has never gone away (I haven't had a doctor give me a proper diagnostic), and I also have "peach fuzz" on my cheeks, both issues make it really hard to wear most face makeup. Try a moisturizer that's oil-free and it shouldn't break you out. Neutrogena has a nice one. I have really dry skin, like REALLY REALLY dry skin, so I always exfoliate my skin every single day before I put on makeup. If I don't, then I have really bad flakes that are only highlighted by my makeup. I've used the Clinique 3 step system for dry skin before and loved it! it was the only time that my skin wasn't so dry that I only had to exfoliate maybe twice a week and have no flakes at all!

Have you tried the Maybelline Dream Lumi Touche concealer? It's FANTASTIC! I bought it on a whim and I'm so glad I did! I use it under my eyes and I have tiny lines under my eyes and this concealer just makes them disappear! I will say that it dries really quick so you have to blend quickly but it's amazing at covering dark circles and veins, brightening, and not settling into the fine lines!

I love Revlon Colorstay foundation...they just changed it a little, it is now SPF 15 & claims to be 24hr whereas the original was 16hr. Although it doesn't actually last for 24hrs it does stay on skin a lot longer than the original. I recommend it!!
