  • There's no way I would play this game slower than 100%!

  • always thought the ti 84 screen looked like the original gameboy screen.

  • I stopped the video when u said I need a USB cable

  • how do u do this on ti 84 ?

  • i've never seen a non casio calculator...lol.

  • Kak-a-lay-tur....

  • now... how to find a excuse to buy a $80 calculator and not look like a insane man.

  • the teachers think we are fucked up, cause we use it on all subjects :D

"why you have you calculator on the table we have english!"

    "to count the words :D"

  • i have 2 questions

    1. Is there a way to make the display size smaller? It is bigger than the screen so i need to keep moving it up and down.

    2. When I try to save state I get Address Error, and need to reset it. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

  • the only problem graphics.

  • okay, it worked! untill i tried to save the game, now its stuck at Address Error. and i cant shut it down. removing the batteries shuts it down, untill i put em back in. Gets right back to where i was 10 seconds earlier, Adress error. so basically i cant do anything anymore with my ti-89. which sucks. any ideas? anyone?

  • @WBSMeneerDeUil pull the watch battery out for 20 min.

  • @WBSMeneerDeUil have you tryed 2nd, left, right, On in this order?

  • can you play GBC games?

  • Thanks so much for this tutorial bro I'm excited to play this in class tommorow!

  • If my calculator is brand new do I still need to delete the things for more memory?

  • wish i found this when i was in school :(

  • where is the cartconverter i can't find it in gb68k

  • D: I found out something:

if you use the stats/list editor and put in something for the LinReg (ax + b) x and y values, you can't use the emulator! You will get an address error and the only way to fix it is by resetting ur ram which deletes ur save file! Does anybody know a way to delete the "list1" and "list2" from the stat/list editor?

  • Thanks man, this is awesome!

  • No offence but your a computer idiot you said rom its ram

  • @JrabbProductionsRS Not sure if you're trolling or just completely fucking stupid.........no offence.

If you have no extra RAM on your 84PSE go to omnimaga.org to use one that works but no sound on omnimaga

  • Wow, this is real?! To be honest, I was expecting you to put Game Boy on a calculator and make fun of everyone who hoped it's gonna work xD

btw to anyone while putting in the games and archiving it says not enough memory REFRESH the device explorer

  • Does anyobody have a site to download the GB roms from?!! i only find gba and gbc not gb please reply ASAP

  • @kioyshi442

It's all the same, just mislabeled. Just do a bit of research to make sure the game you want is for the gameboy original.

  • @kioyshi442 there is one site coolrom.com .com

  • gameboyconvert is the same as Cartconvert BUT you have to put quotation marks around your two parameters you type in!

  • please please help me ive downloaded gb86k and hw3patch but how do you get cart convert!!!!????? when i open the gb68k file that i downloaded i get this thing called gameboyconvert. is that the same thing? cause when i tried to convert the rom i downloaded with it nothing happened and its really frustrating!

  • I want your babies. Please die.

  • I should have payed the extra 30 or so dollars instead of buying a stupid TI-83+. -__-

  • you know back in the "day" we used to just bring our gameboy pocket or color (late 90's obviously) to high school and we simply did the ol' play the game under the desk trick BUT no this is ALOT easierrrrrrrrrrr.

  • how about ti-84 plus silver edition

  • @litojonny

Obviously not haha. Not enough memory

  • And oh yeah the nspire has a toatl of 23mb of ram.. thats right, I have 34 gbc color games on my nspire

  • @TheCalcHacker The Nspire has had gba emulator for quite a while now, the only problem is that the os (1.1) has been removed from ti's database so its hard to get a copy. It has a bigger screen and better resolution, If the 89 was alowed on most test, then i would probably get it but its not so i got an nspire

  • Why is everybody worried about legal issues. Aren't these games abandon ware by now?

  • Yo dude nice tut, btw im trying to transfer a game to my calc, and when i want to archive it, it says "cant archive main/game memory"

  • I need one for the math classes :O

  • Hey your tutorial is very helpful, however theres one problem.

The "Gameboy Convert" on gb68k doesnt work! :(

On this video its "Cart convert" which should be the same, but nothings converting please help.

  • @idunnowwfe i am trying to figure it out too

  • how do you open winRAR?

  • But if I delete all these functions and programs in my calculator to use this gameboy emulator... then I can't use it for school.

  • good for passing time during exam how about the teachers!

  • dude the gbconverter doesnt work

  • dude i used the game boy converter and it did not work like shown help!

  • O.o

  • That sucked

  • How much free RAM do you need to run gb68k?

  • my calc wasnt even invented yet when this vid was made -_-

  • there is no cartconvert but there is gameboy convert and i used it and it does not create any files please helpp!!! :)

  • Wait so u can't do gba roms?

  • Dewddd... There's no cartconverter there's only a gameboyconvert is that the same thing?

  • Ok dude, you have to make more videos now. This is too cool.

  • WHA T1? DOSE CASIO COUNT LOL xD

  • man all the calculator that i found with usb jacks are 80$ and up!

    help

  • THAT'S FUCKING GENIUS!!!

  • Hi there,

    Great video :)

Im having trouble running the gameboy emulator. whenever i type in "gb68k()" the screen just freezes. Can you tell me what i might have done wrong?

I think i've properly installed the patch and placed the necessary ROMS in.

    Thanks.

  • Still getting out of memory errors after installing super start... Did the reset thing and everything. Messed with the options, auto archive is on and stuff, but still can't do it. This is the last thing I need to do, and I'm so relieved to get this far after a few mess-ups on my part caused me suffering, but this time I'm sure it's not me. I even re-installed super start.

  • @Brentstah Found out what the problem was. If anyone else has this problem, just delete all of your flashapps (EXCEPT Super Start, you need this to play), even when they're not running they take up memory. Great tutorial, thanks so much! Playing pokemon red on my calc. It's just like playing the old gameboy, man so many childhood memories!

  • POKEMON O_O

  • Comment removed

  • Plz!! i need help......

when i type gb68k() it just freezes'. how can i fix this?

  • fuck I wish my calculator could do that

  • Man thnks u made math class fuun now!

  • Two words: FUCK YOU

  • very good, very clever

  • this is what you do when your bored during math class

  • Finally, a PRACTICAL use for those freaking graphing calculators!

    This is revolutionary.

    :D

  • Little tipp: By using the TIsendto.exe wich is on the Disc of your calculator, you can send it directly to the archiv. So you can send all files the same without archiving piece by piece....thats much faster!

  • make a tutorial for nspire CAS

  • For TI-83?

  • math class is suddently my fav class now :D

  • hehehehe now i can play pokemon in school lol

  • that is pretty awsome

  • will this also work with ti 84 plus?

  • how do i put the gb file on the calc?

  • Comment removed

  • A slightly easier way to get files into your Archive is to select all your files you want to transfer, right click and choose Send to TI Device... Then a little screen pops up and you can select all of them and press Set to Archive.

  • I love this emulator! instead of getting caught with my ds with lameboy on my r4, I use this!

  • *_*

  • will the calculator still be able to perform calculations?

  • The nSpire version is amazing.

  • So it won't work for the TI-84

  • does it work with voyage 200 ??

  • I do have an idea what i am talking about. The TI 84+ only has 480kB of memory, and i'm quite sure a GB emulator and pokemon will need more space, as pokemon itself is 370kB. But it isn't the 84+, and i don't know the specs of the other TI calculators.

  • Too bad these calcs have like 2mb ram in them...

  • @xdarkfirex i think less

  • @toepsaspore no its 2mb flash archive. That's where the converted rom would be stored. Only in the titanium though the old ti89 has 160k. I program for these so I got the specs committed to memory. Gcc4ti ftw.

  • @xdarkfirex ok then

  • @xdarkfirex so? the original gameboy had like 8 kb ram

  • @nessnes64 that was my sarcastic response to a comment about it not being real due to mistaken lack of space. It had plenty of space for toms 2mb worth. Way bigger than 8kb.

  • @xdarkfirex oh i see i guess the person who said it didnt have enough space is a sony *cough* (COCKJACKINGFAGGOT) *COUGH* fan

    (snigger)

  • @xdarkfirex my TI n-spire has 23mb

  • @xdarkfirex that's why you put it into the rom.

  • @hacksign23 it was a sarcastic comment... in reply that the ti didn't have enough memory. And you would put it into ram. You can't write to Rom its Read Only Memory.

  • Not real i think, i don't think that version of the TI graphic calculator has enough memory.

  • Its real alright.

  • unbelievable..

  • Real?

  • nice, i found way to get runescape on calc...graphics fail even worse though

  • Excellent tutorial! I just bought a Ti-89 tonight and I'm already rockin Pokemon Red on it. The link for hw3patch in the description is bad, but I easily found HW3Patch v.1.03 through a quick google search. Thanks so much for the great video.

Hardest part was finding the 'T' button on the calculator... I was looking QRSU on the keypad and was like WTF where is T?? Then I realized it has its own dedicated button -_-

  • @comp1337n00b Thanks for the feedback. I changed the link, so it should work now.

  • does anyone know if there is a gb emulator for casio calculator?

  • Hm I

    Might take my gba sp

Disassemble it and put it in a calculator shell and rig up the a b r l and up den lef and right to calculator buttons!

  • Hmm, thats cool!

  • No, it would only be illegal if you obtained the Pokemon ROM without first owning the game.

  • @koolkid274

Dude, idiot, stop crying for goodness sake

  • I'm trying to run Pokemon Yellow. The GameboyConvert (there is no CartConvert in mine for some reason) makes 22 files. I put nine on there, after some difficulty, and archived all of them. After the ninth one, the calculator won't archive them. it says, "Can't archive main\pkmny.09 Memory." I cleared EVERYTHING else on the calculator and pressed 2nd+left+right+ON several times and it continues to give that error. Help me...

  • Never mind, I got all 22 files on and archived them. But now, Pokemon Yellow just freezes after the first screen, right after the GameFreak logo with the stars. The screen just goes white. I have no idea what to do. Somebody help!

  • Do you know of any emulator for Casio fx models?

  • will it work on the TI nspire?

    '

  • no but there is now a Gameboy (and even Gameboy Color) emulator for the TI-Nspire. It's called gbc4nspire. You need to install Ndless on your calc to use it. Both can be found either at omnimaga. org or ticalc. org

  • that's cool 0_0

  • will this work on a casio fx-9750 GA????

  • nope

  • is there an emulator that runns on a more native rez on TI Nspire?

  • no. the nspire easily has the resources to run an emulator, but it hasn't really been cracked yet and no one has programmed one for it

  • @TheCalcHacker I bet you already know but it has been now.

  • will this worck on TI 82?
