Thats what I heard, but people are talking about it if you watch the video of the semifinalists being revealed. i dont think you should be so critical on the lad, he hardly had any time to practise the routine, and bless him, he just wanted to do a new one do impress the judges. He made a mistake, yes he should have done his semi final performance with a few more moves but hes only a young boy so dont be so harsh on him. Plus i think hes really good and will be a little stunner when hes older.

Aidan Davis had been my favourite after the semi-finals, but in the final (on reflection!) I now find myself in agreement with Simon.

Unlike his semi-final which was full of originality & complexity, he repeated too many moves (and used easier moves!) here in the final. It was this lack of originality & complexity which prevented him from eclipsing Diversity.

A different song would have also helped enormously.

Hopefully he will learn from this experience, and re-emerge better than ever?

Don't know why Simon Cowell had to be so harsh. The judges didn't have an input to the final result anyway, it was all down to phone votes by the public. All Simon had to say was "Great performance, Good Luck", instead of criticising Aidan's performance. After all, he'd only won the semi-final less than 24 hours before.
