  • wonderful song. great voice

  • Its Tommy Roe who did Town Crier

  • Does anyone remember the song "Town Crier"? Not the one by Linda Scott. This one began: It's twelve o'clock and not is oh so well, cause I've a story that I have tell.

Every night about this time I tell the world that I'm the Town Crier.........."

I thought Johnny Crawford did it but... I have been looking for this song since 1963!

SOMEONE must know who sang it!

  • LOVE YOUR NOSE IS GONNA GROW. LOVE THIS SONG .

  • like this song......like the background music

  • like this one by him.to the ones who didn't like this song, looked like 'the boogey man' got you.(justin bieber is ' the boogey man'.run!)

  • Isn't this top drawer bubblegum from the early 60s? Wonderfully melodic, from a kid with an instinct for singing. True joy for it, making his young voice an instrument.

Johnny went on to a career in music, and there's no mystery there.

  • i always loved this song -what a great oldie -i think its awesome

  • Beautiful melody and the greatest voice ever....

  • Omg Im So OLD!!!!

  • Justin Bieber From 1962 !!!!

  • @IBeLkl lol

  • Justin Biber From 1962 !!!!

  • The Justin Beiber of his time. Yeah, he could sing well, despite the trash he was forced to sing.

  • It's the summer of 1962 and we are playing hide-and-go-seek with the girls next door... it never got any better than this...summer in Idaho and this song.

  • My favorite of all of his songs. g1h2nedlaw I never forgot it.

  • Yeah! Good stuff from Johnny Crawford!

  • L O L !!!!!! very cool, i have the rumors 45

  • Good record, good voice, I like it. I just thought it was kinda funny to hear that particular phrase in a song. No offense meant. I understand Johnny leads his own dance band these days.

  • i heard this song when i was like 11 and listening to oldies night on 93Q in syracuse and it stuck in my head i'm 37 now and just hearing it again wow

  • It's a beautiful song & I don't care if it mentions the boogyman...so, what's wrong with it....It's beautiful song tha ttransports me back to 1962 & I fully enjoy it after so many years...R

  • Awesome!

    Thank you!

    Brent

  • Thats actually the "bogeyman" not "boogeyman"

  • Probably the only hit record/hit song from the Top 40 era of rock and roll that had the nerve to include the words "the boogeyman will get you" in the lyrics of any song ever written.

  • really enjoyed this

  • Best Song!!!! Love it!!!....he's got the most pleasant voice!!!! Havn't heard a better singer!!!!

  • this is a corny but really terrific song from the 60's.
