And frankly, I'm tired of ochestras. I love solo piano because I LOVE the instrument, and there's too much ochestra in concertos.
She plays very well, but can lose all those faces. That's like reality tv. When you've rehearsed something 1,000 times, the emotions are lost, so it's all acting and detracts from the phenomenal playing because everyone's watching instead of Listening...
@lllllllllllllll88 She pulls the same charming faces when she's praticing, so do all musicians. You only need to play an instrument to know that to be a fact. Futhermore, I think your so called "acting" actually helps you as a musician to "get in the mood", so to speak. To get the message across more clearly. Though I must also admit I take great personal pleasure in watching her preform.

Uchida plays with such enthusiasm - and she brings out in orchestras a level of seriousness and concentration that most conductors can not (no offense to Mehta - he's great).
The guy at 9:56 in the lower righthand corner just cannot contain himself! lol. Another truly marvelous performance from Mitsuko!!! I love her well-deserved expression after finishing ... very touching indeed!
I don´t know how such a vulgar pianist as lang lang can have a steinway piano line with his name, but Uchida have culture, REAL TALENT, the best tecnique, lang lang is just a big clown
The dog doesn't seem to be a Beethoven's enthusiast.
