But to those learning the game for the first time from this, the Op Fire was calculated incorrectly. The German Squad's inherent Firepower of 3 should not have counted - the target squad was out of the German Squad's range.
Therefore, the base FP should have been 5 + 1D6 (3 for the German Machine gun + 1 for the German leader + 1 for American Squad moving in the open).
