dude you are a beast!!!!... i made druid with the soul desire to play resto and boonkin.... i was stuck in between a druid and a shaman, but i chose druid. was i hit 70 i was soo happy to get a taste of the greatness.. but once i hit 85 wit both sets of glad gear ... i see how unbalanced it is... i put soo time into mastering both... but wheni researched some help all they told me was to role a shaman for heals... and play feral for pvp. and i hate feral... i just want to play a caster.<---sad

Hey man i want to thank you for the info you bring to this class. Ive always been a decent boomkin but now with your macro's and tips i find myself haveing more fun and being able to take down most classes. Thanks again keep it up. Oh and yea we can blame Feral druids for the Instant Root nerf since they would stack up bleeds root and run away.

As a pvp Moonkin I usually have the hardest time against spriests. They either outdamage me or just drain my mana, dispell innervate, etc... any tips would be helpful :)

By the way it is possible to beat rogues. I use a melee tactic i made up. If you have solar eclipes just put up 3 mushrooms around you, detonate them, pop thorns, dot the rogue, starfall and force his early cloak etc. Boomkin is better if your tauren tbh - warstomp + cyclone combo.

There's no need for blessing of the grove, fungal growth is so much better, if you learn to use the mushroom slow while kiting melee around pillars it can be great.

Idk if you made this before they made shrooms an insta cast but you should never spec into improved hurricane because sunfire spam and shooms on heavy aoe fights like heroic maloriak is much more effective, and second it is very easy to control where you are on eclips bar and thats why i love it. I can stay in Solar an entire bg and do 3x more dmg then anyother player just sunfire spaming so i guess i dissagree when you say it is situational, they only time i agree with that would be pve

Have to give you props for running with a boomkin in pvp and actually do well. They really put the nerf bat to them!! I wouldnt feel too bad about spamin moon fire. What else does the boomkin really have??

There is a bug with typhoon where it'll show it multiple times but sometimes it shows it and won't hurt anyone so you have to keep casting it

No ghost crawler was getting annoyed when he was holding s key and spamming 1 so when you rooted him he thought his button was broken and he realized it was instant roots, so he nerfed it because he's a fuck head and then he said "let's give mages 5000000000000 cc's"

@insende There's a reason alot of Boomkins want me to duel Sub Rogues, and thats because they are pretty much impossible. Especially good ones with decked out gear. There a some classes that are huge counters to Boomkins and sub Rogues are at the top of that list. I will work on it, though.

@Thargarable If you go beat when ruptured you can stun a rogue wasting the silence. With treants and thorns you can slowly drain a rogue. You would have to play very defensive until cloak is forced. Almost impossible to beat a sub rogue, but possible.

Coming from a rogue and boomkin, you just have to remember to use your abilities to force the rogues hand and to use offencive cooldowns defensively.

Rule #1

"YOU WILL NOT GET A STARFALL OFF VERSUS SUB 1v1!" use it to force blind, vanish, cloak, or Dance

2 - still save trink for blind

3 - Use bear, but only for a stun or regen(for cloak). Important- keep demo roar up every 30 secs!

4 - treant when he dances, get the preasure on!

Not really. You all could use some more control I guess, but moonkins, as a class, probably weren't meant to be the CC machines that frost mages are. Other mage specs, fire and arcane really don't have all that much control or defenses. They have blink as all mages do and that helps out alot yes, but the only mage spec with a good amount of survivability seems to be frost.

Boomkins do need a change IMO. Be it more defenses or something to stop them from being trained so hard.

ps. they should bring back instant root just for moonkin, like mix it in with the eclipse mechanic or make it a pvp talent for boomboom XD

Well mages have those roots, but there not auto insta range roots with like no cd. The range root that frost (only frost) gets is on a fairly long cd and you have to cursor over and aim it, not like entangling roots. Insta roots was insanely OP and they needed to remove it.

Also you QQ alot in this video but you do so while destroying people. It's not like your underpowered....

Something I LOVE to do as a boomkin is what I call extreme cyclone burst. In 2s when fighting a healer + dps I'll dps the dps to about half health while CCing the heals then ill cyclone the dps so the dps can receive no heals, set up 3 shrooms around the cycloned target and cast a starsurg to hit the target as he exits the cyclone. At the same time the starsurg hits I det the three shrooms. You have enuf time to set this up during 1 cyclone duration. This only works when their trinket is down.

Moonkin need a talent for thorns. Have it increase damage and reduce damage taken or something along those lines. And of course feral needs shape-shifting back.
