I have a strange feeling that Sylvia, despite his once elite background, did not learn his lesson from the Ray Mercer fight, & thinks this will be an easy walk through. If Mariusz can get him past the first round, I think Tim Sylvia will be completely out of gas. He cannot be in any kind of competitive shape weighing in at 305. After the fight with the Kawaguchi I have to say this. Pudzi's has push-pull skills only. He has very questionable boxing, wrestling, submission, kicking, etc. The only thing I do not question is his strength. Would he be able to apply it in a useful manner in the fight?

Hey, it doesnt matter how much weight Pudz lifts in Objects like Kegs and stones , have you ever tried to Lift and throw around a 6' 8" 280 lb Man who does NOT want to leave the ground and is Resisting you all the way ?

i can tell you it AINT easy, no matter who you are. You forgot to mention tha in the wsm events, those objects dont hit back when u go to lift them, this is an ENTIRELY different situation : )

Size IS absolutely an issue in EVERY fight . Thats why we have weight divisions , and they NEVER allow a 160 lb guy fight a 230 lb guy, regardless of how skilled the much smaller man is.

If Sylvia had the same skill level he has now, but instead only thing that changed is that he was 6' 200 lbs, would it be easier or harder for Pudz to win ? the answer is obvious and indisputable, easier.

On Paper, its only Logical to assume a guy who lifts cars over his head and runs with them full speed as if they were toys would be unbeatable in the Ring.

However, it just doesnt work that way . Theres a science and a matter of Physics to be able to USE and DEMONSTRATE that type of power in the ring effectively. based on his previous fights, Pudz cant do that yet. Sylvia is 2 big, 2 strong and 2 skilled

Did I hear "most feared striker" out of that guys mouth at 3:55? I don't know about that. I know Tim can hit hard, but that's only when he throws punches, which isn't often. He lays and prays in his fights, waiting for the opponent to make a mistake. That doesn't make a very exciting fight at all. I hope Tim learns to be waaaaay more aggressive in his future bouts. He looks like he's in good shape in this video at least.

I've been wathcing World's Strongest Man since the '90s. I've always wondered how these huge powerful men would do in a real fight. And who better to show this than the man who has won WSM more times than anyone in WSM history, Mr. Mariusz Pudzianowski. Being only his 2nd MMA fight, this is a big jump in competition. We saw what Fedor did to Tim, now I want to see how a man with such physical strengh as Mariusz would fare. I can't wait to see this fight!
