Not once that caucasian lady said "thank you God, I'm still alive." All she did was complaining. Sure she was hurt, but so did 298 other passengers. She complained because there were 'only' 25-30 staff with her. How many did she want? 1000s? all the attention for herself? What a selfish person that she is.... I'd rather to marry someone with more humbleness and gratefulness.

The runway was too short to land a plane this big in such bad weather conditions.The pilots and crew of air france did an excellent job of saving all those passengers.Toronto Pearson Airport should be to blame for the whole incident,nobody else!

@Bozewani Etobicoke creek is a major tributary carrying water from the northern suburbs of Toronto down to Lake Ontario, it can not be filled in. Building a bridge over the creek is not feasible because there would be no return to the airfield since the creek delimits the airfield boundary. The best option would be to build a safety zone where the concrete would give way, retarding forward motion at the cost of severe damage to the runway and the aircraft.

It's unbelievably selfish and stupid to endanger lives in an emergency for the sake of a few easily replaceable belongings. They should be forced to eat every piece of luggage they took, along with all the contents, by way of penance.
