I was a close friend of HN Retmier. We were deployed together in Ghazni/Paktika. I just got back from leave and my buddy told me he was killed. He was so passive about it that I didn't believe him, but it was sadly true. Fortunatley his family are over this specific ordeal but the loss is unbearable. He was a real hero the day he died. What an amazing Corpsman. Hommie, we all miss you. Hoo Yah Devil Doc (you are my hero). I can't say enough about how great of a person he was. RIP buddy boy...
