I completely unwittingly met Arthur Darvill in person, or at least saw him perform on stage in the London Globe Theatre in real life. I wish I had realized at the time. But, there was a distinct sense of satisfaction (and mind-fuckery) when I found out a few days ago. Strangely, when I was watching the rehearsal, the character I found out to be him was my favourite. When did he write this? Was it after filming for Doctor Who? 'cause I can't help but think it was directly influenced by the Pirate episode. "Wrapped in water" and of course the whole "breathe in/breathe out" part. It's like everything up to that part is Rory lying on the medical table with visions of Amy, and then he wakes up to her, before launching into those lyrics.
