@Fleshy91 The way MTV has gone, i dont think i can understand its---jeez, lunacy. Was meant in a good way i would like to think, but went NUTS comercially. one thing i gotta admit is that mtv has introduced MANY bands we would never of heard of. U2 for example.it is a long strange road MTV has taken.
@CanyonAngel Really, never enough credit for Frank over all. Except for his true fans. Never quite hit the peak that many of his contemporaries had. Signed Alice Cooper and Ted Nugent, and never enjoyed half the popularity those two had. Please notice I said popularity. Not talent. Though I quite like Ted, and Alice, one rarely hears Frank on the radio as much as either of them.
This first became one of my favourites when I was 13 (The year I first heard it) My dad got a Zappa CD and I feel in love with all the tracks, but this and another (Valley girl) stood out to me. I think I've figured out why, it's been many years since Zappa wrote them but they're still relevant today. I also love this version, brought it from iTunes and still listen to it now.
@Zappa551 That's Pierre Boulez, Zappa was a big fan of his, and collaborated on projects. FZ released the Boulez conducts Zappa, The Perfect Sranger album in 1984, look him up, Zappa was a noob compared to this guy :D
@Zappa551 As @Zappa551 pointed out, Pierre Boulez was no "noob", and I think you've confused "composer" with "conductor" - the composer writes the musc, the "conductor" leads the band playing the music... Some people focus on either composing or conducting, some people do both.

The dubbed footage from Bamboozled by Love solo in '88 (3.07-3.15) actually looks pretty accurate :D
