first off open the control pannel next to the door and 1 of ur buttons `1-9 has ur welding torch and hacking device find that go close to the panel and hold ur fire key for a few seconds

God damn bro, I regret not having beaten the Marine campaign. I left that campaign for last because it scared the crap out of me, but then I was struck with some serious malware and had to format my PC and I lost all my data because I forgot to back it up...

I remember playing this level first time. I was scared as hell when i entered Alien hive. And when i saw eggs i didnt know they can hatch since i never saw any Alien movie and when suddenly facehugger jumped on me i shut off the game and didnt play it for like 3 days. Good video dude, makes me wana play avp agian since new one is coming next year :D

I remember going through this level when I first played it. This level was one that scared me when those aliens come out of the dark. After the girl dies, all you hear are roaring aliens as they come after you. The music makes a fit for the escape.

Funny you mention the "torch." The welding torch in this game produces an inexhaustible light source, albeit an intermittent one. Pressing and holding the fire button when holding it will make a dull red light constantly appear around you.

The problem is you can't use a weapon while using that light source, but I did find it useful while exploring a previously-cleared area.
