imo , 2012 was pretty enjoyable . yes , the acting + plot is pretty self-explanatory and it is a popcorn movie . but sometime , that's just all you need after a long day at work . you dont want another intense relationship/ plotline movie that makes you feel like you're back at the office again . sunday , perhaps , is when you watch those kind of movie . plus , if you want to show off your new TV and theater set up , 2012 might just be the perfect movie XD .

District 9 actually had like one of the best storylines and there was this crappy buy interesting part for 1hour with Horrible actors but natural.(excluding the thomas guy, hes freakin kickass). I quite enjoyed it. I agree that it doesn't really require any higher brain function. I really have a soft spot for John Cusack, everything from High fidelity to Gross Point Blank have been good. I didn't enjoy the end very much and i had figured out the mini twist pretty much as soon as you heard about their masterplan.
