  • this albums so heavy i couldnt even carry it home.

  • THIS ISNT LOUD ENOUGH DAMNIT.

  • I feel like this is the song playing in hell's waiting room.

  • @diamondback604 LZ and DP helped create it, but the first Heavy Band WAS, and IS, Black Sabbath.

  • drop d?

  • @xXbigwilliestyleXx no, i think its drop everything a whole step actually.

  • BLACK SABBATH!!!!

  • 12 people must be deaf

  • The headbanging begins at 1:15

  • Pure poetry... truth put to song!!!

  • I've heard a lot of music. Black Sabbath is bar none the best in music. It really is an elegant design: simple catchy heavy riffs, bluesy/jazzy influence, tony's amazing solos, ozzy's crazy voice. It's the perfect storm. Their music is still unsurpassed to this day. Zeppelin & Purple get credit for inventing HM - how? never in their careers did they ever come close to Sabbath's riffage or style. & no matter how much metal evolved thruout the decades, Black Sabbath are still kings of metal period

  • @diamondback604 and will allways be the kings of the metal ..but zeppelin is more heavy rock not heavy metal

  • @909damianblood why did Rolling Stone call Zeppelin the "hardest band ever"? I didn't understand that... Zep's virtuosity and sheer diversity are awe-striking, but they dont' really have too many hard songs... I don't know when this quote was said (maybe right when Zep came out and at that time it maybe seemed really fucking hard lol)

  • @diamondback604 who cares

  • @diamondback604 Because RS is the original TROLL and only exsists to make $ and create controversy. If they printed the truth they'd be telling us what we already know and that is Black Fucking Sabbath are THE masters of reality. Not to take anything away from Zep but RS knows who reads their $h!trag.

  • pop music means a lot of shit. to some (classical music heads) it just means a beat marking 4/4 time throughout a song (not a musician, pls don't anally rape this statement)

  • 11 people got raped by Satan

Some of you may be wondering how this has any relevance.....

The answer is simple: Satan worships BLACK SABBATH!!!! \m/>_<\m/

  • the best sabbath studio album, my oppinion

  • Maximum. Drive at 104%. 5x5...uh o h~

  • @plants305 you sound like you have no higher than 98IQ. That's okay, you're average.

  • @HipHopForTheAges shut the fuck up hip hop lover. your kind is not welcome here. good bye

  • ....greatest riffs ever.....

  • gah, that opening riff is perfect

  • i love sabbath they make me feel so great!

  • Sabbath for fucking EVER!!!!

  • @Adarvuli and After Forever.

  • @wpw2 damn right ;)

  • Holy shit. Fucking Sabbath rocks. enough said

  • this shit is so heavy! i cant imagine what those stinking hippies must have thought hearing sabbath the first time........

  • @massajohn520 Heaven ;)

  • @massajohn520 this songs lyrics lean more to the hippy side

  • I have loved Black Sabbath since I was 12 (1972) and listening to my sister's boyfriend's cassttes of 'MOR' and 'Vol 4.' I have to say, though, that it just about broke my heart to see Ozzy at a banquet with America's latest war pig, George W. Bush. Has he ever commented on that?

  • The only problem with pop music is that it exists.

  • @runningtortoise2 If you thimk this is pop you realy should take a music class

  • Why the fuck was I born in 1995?

  • @ih8makinusernames LMAO. Dont worry man, we have youtube.

  • @ih8makinusernames you missed everything..last good year to get born in was about 1973

  • @WeedVulva i was born in 1960. thank god i got to ride this musical wave

  • @Havoc88x nice so you mustve been about 10, 0r 11 to see the action lol

  • @WeedVulva thats alright guy. i dont hate go ahead and be that asshole., i think your trolling and i dont feed TROLLS

  • Even the susquehanna weed will tell you Black Sabbath is the shit. SCIENCE!

  • @DaiReborn Fuck your science. ALL ABOUT THAT DARK VOID!

  • Susquehanna weed.

  • Joey Muthafuckn Diaz

  • I'm the 666th person to like this video!

  • Geezer Just Rumbles that Bass in this one!

  • Sabbath does Sci-Fi! Yet, the future that they sing of in this gem was and is grounded in a very real fear that we may be doing more damage to Earth than we care to acknowledge. Listening to this album in one sitting is like entering a black velvet womb and being shown a preview of all the horror (and hope) of the world . Anyway, that's the way this album's always made me feel. This to me is Sabbaths' deepest album.

  • @maximadog Dude, easily Sabbath's best album ever. Some may put it down for having "softer" lyrics, but metal doesn't have to be all gore and pessimism. It's heaviest when it actually says some real shit. They wrote powerful lyrics based around peace and understanding, but added very dark undertones to accommodate their music while still keeping the message intact. FUCKING HEAVY!!!!

  • They really ARE the best band ever. They started it all. Everything before that was pussy hippy shit. There would not be a Pantera, a Metallica, an Iron Maiden, etc.....without Sabbath. Amen.

  • @sabbathtage25 Haha The Doors were not a pussy hippy band. Nor with Jimi Hendrix or Cream. Have some respect

  • 11 people did not escape the final suicide...

  • The heaviest album of the original Four, in my opinion.

  • @bubbleheadft --Master of Reality is the heaviest Sabbath album. This is album influenced all of the death and modern metal artists. It was the first time Iommi tuned down a step and a half. Sabbath is the ultimate progressive heavy rock band.

  • If I started my own country this would be the national anthem.

  • All Sabbath albums with Ozzy are great, this is one of their best.

  • @eswaim2000 Master of Reality is my 2nd favorite Black Sabbath album. My favorite is Sabatoge. Paranoid is my 3rd favorite.

  • FUCK ME RUNNING BEST BAND EVER !!!

  • This has to be the heaviest sabbath album no doubt its the best right next to paranoid

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRGGGGGGG TOO MANY BALLS!!!!

  • automatic goosebumps

  • check the riff is fucking tasty!

  • fuckin epic song

  • Last song 12/3/10 and Paranoid F. Magical

    Epic

    Heavy

  • Want to sound good? Turn off all your guitar pedals, turn off your "anti suck buttons", plug in, crank it up, and sing into the frigging microphone. What was this...eight track?

  • sittin in my livin in my black velvet jacket in 1971 listening to sabbath tell it like it is

  • I awaited this album after the Paranoid release. Quite frankly I was disappointed upon the first listen. But...then, after multiple listens I knew that Black Sabbath carved what we now associate as being " heavy metal."

  • This is a stoner album ! FIRE UP !

  • i just referenced this song in a horror story I'm writing, the last line of lyrics fit perfectly.

  • @StigmurderE5150 I did the same, except I referenced the album title. Sabbath is great for inspiring horror/sci-fi material lol.

  • thank you for reminding me what a really special Master of Reality is. Every song. It's been years since I've heard it and still sounds great after all these years.

  • This is real metal Sabbath is the best! LONG LIVE METAL!!

  • Have sex while listening to this song ;)

  • @G4Guitars Is that an open invitation?

  • @40blacksabbath Only if u want it to be ;) hhahahahah

  • I can feel the glorious testicles of this song in my ears.

  • thumbs up if you jam to this while smoking a joint

  • @realityfrominsanity actually its a bowl,but i thumbs upped anyway

  • @allhailrussell either works! weed is weed and its always good anyway you smoke it! ;)

  • @realityfrominsanity hopefully its good or you leave that for the deer, but then they get the munchies and steal food out of the garden

  • @allhailrussell totally!

  • @realityfrominsanity Not smokin' jay, but smokin' a bowel of white widow!!

  • Aaah.

  • This song should have been in Fallout 3. Thumbs up if you agree!

  • @ASHL0TTE nerd

  • @jolygreengiant56 Fallout 3 is cool.

  • @jolygreengiant56 Soo.... Automatically saying something about a game makes us a nerd? Sweet. This world is 86% nerds, 4% non-nerdy people like you, and 10% failures, homeless people, and people similar.

  • This brings me back to Detroit Cobo Hall watching this concert ..God what a good time .

  • Apples.

  • Who's Bieber?Anyway, into the void, hand of doom, cornucopia, st vitus' dance, a national acrobat behind the wall of sleep, and chidren of the grave. I have all of dio's solo albums, but I did not care for the dio/sabbath lineup. Born again is my favorite non-ozzy sabbath album. ian gillan has an awesome range. look into sabbath songs that are not on the top 10 list, expand your sabbath song list. there are a lot of songs that people never heard of, yet they are better than Iron Man.

  • this, fairies wear boots, and paranoid are all the best sabbath songs.

  • Thanks miscon, it was a whole different scene back then. It is such a shame that the youth of today is unable to experience the concert scene because of the cost. $100 dollars for a concert? WTF, the most I payed for a concert was $30 2 see the stones in 1989. I'm not saying that all of the music of today is cookie cutter crap, but most bands today are not in the recording studio at the same time. Great music will stand the test of time, justin bieber will b forgotten about in 5 years or less.

  • @UBC758 Forgot the bieb already

  • What? this was not acid rock "back in the day", cream, doors, the dead- I am lucky enough to have seen them all live-when they were all at the top of their game, that's acid music. Sabbath started the genre of heavy metal no question. Sabbath is nothing but blow your fucking head off, head banging, rock your balls off music. There is, and will never be another as powerful and influential. I'm glad to see the next gen. of Sabbath fans, the crap today belongs on a juicy fruit commercial

    .

  • @UBC758 If I could vote for the best comment on the interwebz, this would be it!

I would have loved to see those bands, especially sabbath - I'm only 26 but I grew up with bands who's direct influences were bands like Sabbath!

  • @UBC758 i got to see them back in the day also........i remember going out and buying this album when it first came out ......cost me like 3.75 i think..............that was a lot of money back then........i was only about 13 or 14 then so i had to depend on allowance and not a job yet..............i sort of missed there fist album but i remember buy paranoid.............and being hookded............

  • @atltom58 Yes it was a lot of money, but it was possible for the kid like me, who wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth to be able to get the tickets to see bands like Sabbath. Lawns are mowed by companies with 10 mowers in a huge trailer, papers are delivered by an adult in car, and you rarely see a teenager at a fast food place. Albums are alsao made to be listened as a whole, not one or two songs bought from itunes. Itunes has ruined the album, bands have itunes in mind.

  • This riff is worth a couple of ks ... at least .

  • im 14 biggest metal head in my school i dont really like the SCREAM stuff ive always loved the metal from back in the day its true metal and true music nothing can touch metal rock on u guys KEEP METAL ALIVE OZZY AND THE OTHER GUYS CANT DO IT FOREVER

  • @RIFLEMEN1234 Screamo shit sucks man. About 4 years ago, or maybe 5, when I was in 9th grade, that was the shit. Too simple-minded, too mainstream. It blows. I love The Doors, Type O, BLS, Ozzy, AiC etc. Forget about the mainstream man, listen to what you love. Many who listen to mainstream rap, pop, screamo, rock just try to fit in with their friends, as I was once in that position. The real great music most don't recognize, now its being cool and fitting in with the scene.

  • This was Acid Rock back in the day, still fucking kicks ass, after ALL these years. Posers fuck off and Repent. This is the Shit !

  • today sabbath would be considered doom metal

  • The main riff in this song is worth about 100 John Petrucci solos.

  • @AwesomerAbe Don't even mention that wanker on a Sabbath vid.

  • @AwesomerAbe this is what god does when he gets a bass!!!!!

  • @AwesomerAbe That is so good dude!

  • @AwesomerAbe Well, that depends on which Petrucci solos we're talking about. Regardless, the riff is still epic.

  • @AwesomerAbe John Petrucci lol. Its quite ironic that both Petrucci and Lord of The Riffs Iommi are of Italian descent. Yeah! \m/

  • @santanaincubus not really.....your ancestors gotta be from somewhere..

  • @sunnyztmoney Yes. I just checked on wikipedia that John's parents are full blooded Italian and Tony's parents are the same too. So both are of Italian ancestry.

  • @AwesomerAbe very true. proctologists have discovered a potential link between DT fandom and chronic constipation.

  • eh i like them better with DIO

  • I Love This! It never gets old and is always ready to kill hippies! die hippie die!(you know figuratively of course, hehe)

  • Four decades old, totally awesome Metal! Crushing and hippie stomping! You listen to your CSN, I'll take the Sabbath!

  • Hmmmm this is one of my fav sabbath songs, here is some food for though check out the old movie "when worlds collide" seems like the guys were inspired by that movie for this song. ty for the upload!

  • how do you put this vid with out copy rights

  • hoe do you put this vid with out copy rights

  • My favorite Sabbath song of all time. The only song I learned on guitar all the way through. I downloaded tabs for it and thought I was playing wrong for 20 years but after watching the live version Iommi plays it the way I do. But thats OK because I'm a drummer so I have an excuse. When I was learning to play drums Bill Ward was my hero and I can (almost) nail every Sabbath song on drums. I would love very much to find other musicians in Tucson AZ that would like to cover this band.

  • @TheMustangman72 Im in Burbank,I can always take a small trip to Az.

  • @TheMustangman72 I'd cover these guys on bass or guitar!

I'll be 40 this year and me and Dad are still fans!!!

  • All of Iommis riffs are pure genius he is a mastermind

  • Really? St. Anger is really good. And liking Black Sabbath makes me a fag??? Hmmmm, considering this is a Black Sabbath vid. you should get the fuck out!

  • @Wildon777 I thought it was physically impossible to think St. Anger is a good album. Well done, I applaud you for being an anomaly.

  • @Skateoftheunion That was awesome. I don't laugh often from people's comments, but that was nice lmao.

  • Really? St. Anger is really good.

  • Grew up wit this on LP record. Still sounds great! Yeah, it is hard to beleive it's 40 years old

  • If you haven't heard this on LP then you will go to hell

  • This song reminds me of "Trouble in Lumpy Space" from Adventure Time.

  • I'm so baked righ t now outta ma mind baked type, thank you old wise one for the classic weed music of all time.

  • my mom "How can you do yo Homework listening to metal?"

Me "how could I do my homework WITHOUT Black Sabbath or Metallica! "

The answer is I can't! NEEED METAL!

  • @Wildon777 oh yeah, godo one,,,jesus asshole AHHHH!~~~

  • @Wildon777 metallica sucks they havent done anything good in the last 20 years fag

  • @Babric420 the black album is amazing and sabbath hasent done anything good for 30 years

  • @70s80sglam yeah black album was killer

  • stinky

  • Leave the earth to Satan and his slaves

Leave them to their future in their graves

  • @darksidedelia1 I could Amen to that.

  • this is so fucking heavy!!!

  • great riff

  • Yeah, see, like I don't hate rap and all that stuff because the so-called artists cant sing, write their own lyrics or even play an instrument. No, that's not it at all. It's not ambient, that's all. It can't make you feel, like this song can. If you count objectifying women as being an emotion, then yeah, whatever. I guess we could go with that. Not.

  • this is solitude not into the void!!!

  • @jacketnipple Dude... it's Into the Void. This song and Solitude don't sound anything alike.

  • What -only 98 thousand ?

  • u need 2 burn off some fuel come come and play this song!

  • Ozzy needs to get another black sabbath together

  • Man, that whole intro is groovin' as fuck.

  • Makes me want to blast off and leave this sorry planet in the rearview mirror.

  • @coochie2u Could not have said it better!

  • @coochie2u its not the planet that is sorry, but the over abundance of stiff politicians and brainwashed people who take there garbage as Truth that populate the planet.

  • @coochie2u when you decide to take off .take that worthless fuck justin bieber with ya !

  • This Album is one of the Most Underrated Black Sabbath Albums in my Opinion great album it is.

  • justin beiber hit dislike 8 times.

  • @jackzabbaththeband shut the fuck up you immature cunt.

  • @911violentagro why? you like him?

  • great music lasts forever

  • god back win ozzy had a grate voice got to love it

  • ONE OF THE BEST SONGS AROUND, PEOPLE SHOULD FIGURE OUT WHAT THE FUCK MUSIC REALY MEANS! BEFORE THEY JERK OFF AN INSTRUMENT OR DEEP THROAT A MIKE.

  • so what if the bieber fans wont become metalheads its their loss

judging by the millions of fans that love metal we dont need them

we dont need new fake metallica fans who will revive the deth metallica fued

we dont need to educate more people about metal history

we dont need more people going who is black sabbath

all we need to do is keep togehter and hold our own

  • Black Sabbath = GODS OF METAL!! Sabbath bloody Sabbath
