Firstly, when did you start? If you just begun, don't even stress it! Maybe you're a slow learner, but that doesn't mean you won't get it. There are 13 year olds who are better at manga than myself. It really sucks, but you have to keep pushin' and not get discouraged. If anything, don't follow an artists' style. Develop your own type of manga. There are no guidelines. Improve your facial features and move on to the anatomy a little at a time.

@Bakaxemo well i tryed for 3 weeks and i still look like its not manga its just the hair i cant do and i just want it to look good but it looks like a normal drawing but the eyes are manga eyes im just dieing here!!!!

Why is it some much easier to draw a female manga than a male.

Sometimes when I try to draw a male manga, I wind up drawing a female.

Hm. I always wondered about that myself. I find it easier to draw females for varies reasons: One, I'm a female, I understand the anatomy a little better. Two, they're more fun to doodle. Three, they're featured in all animes; usually the women out number the males. And four, males are usually drawn rather feminine. Animes like DBZ don't come around often. :] But, that's just how I look at it.

i think it's funny how people treat art like math.

learn by observing; that's a big part of art. and watching the creation of something is even better.
