@SeeSee4eva my opinion is that she is not a very good singer, she's more a "studio" artist, it's more her charisma and her image than her musical talent, but she is an ok live singer when they choose the right ballad for her, in a very specific tone. Actually, her best vocals come in songs such as this one, Unfaithful or Russian Roulette. The live versions and the AOL session versions of those songs are actually good.

@itzaramaja thats true , i also think she doesnt rehearse enough for her other songs , where she has to dance and sing her voice isnt strong enough . but when shes just on stage singing a ballad , she seems to be at her best . and besides adele what artist isnt mostly image now -_- sad , i do like rihanna though

I also think she needs more vocal talent, but let me tell you: Rihanna is extremely talented. You see so many pretty girls, even pretty amazing singers who never get anywhere. But she came from Barbados and she did it. She is the center of a millionaire enterprise, 90% of people out there can't do that. People need to understand the difference between being an artist and being a superstar. Both paths require extremely talented people. Rihanna is a talent of the second type.
