  • so precious!

  • 1:32 i wanna go uppies darn it!

  • "this is so much fun, mom come join!" That is what Tonka is saying. These two are sooooooo pretty. I just got two parakeets and i take them in the shower, but so far they only sit and enjoy the steam.

  • Please don't put your parrot on a perch and turn the shower on. Birds will bathe or shower whent they want to. The Scarlet is enjoying a bath, the Blue doesn't have a choice and is stuck on a perch and doesn't seem to enjoy it one bit.

  • @verticalsmurf Youre an idiot. Regardless of the bird being soaked and not being able to float down, it can still hop down. Shut the fuck up you peta bitch. No one wants to hear your negativity. My birds, when I had them, had to problem being on a perchin the shower.

  • @1977F150408 I wasn't being negative, I was giving a suggestion based on what I saw and what I know. Take it or leave it. Some birds love perching in a shower and some don't. This bird doesn't like it and wants to be with its friend on the shower floor. It's arching away from the shower. As you know from when you had birds, a clipped bird doesn't float down, they do a controlled thud, they don't just jump off a perch.

And I strongly dislike PETA. They only exist to push their 'higher morality'

  • why not put the bird next to the other one?

  • omg... everyone needs to stop whining about the bird with clipped wings! there is a reason for it! otherwise why would the other have full and not clipped!

How do you know the bird wasn't just bought from a store that had clipped it's wings!!! Don't jump to conclusions that the owner in this video did it! Seriously people!

  • oh my god they are beautiful!!!

  • she sould make another vidoe and put the red bird on top and the blue bird on the bottom

  • I'm not going to tell you how to raise your bird, but you should train him to return to you. That way, you wouldn't need to clip his wings.

  • I was wondering the same thing poor red bird he wants to be on top with the other bird how would you like it if you were showering with the dirty water thats dripping from the other bird.

  • Not flying isn't cruel nor good. It all depends on the owner. If he has alot of dangerous stuff around the house e.g fans - he has to have his clipped wings. If the bird often hit stuff - clip them wings so atleast they don't have the full potential of flying ( just slight. You can clip the 3rd and 4th feathers and leave the 2 side primaries on each wing and the bird will be able to take off but it won't go anywhere too far.

So : Safe house - no clip. Not a safe house - Clip it!

  • it's so sad to see a bird that can't fly...

  • Getting a birds wings clipped is cruel because they need flying exercise at least once a day,i always let my two budgies out every day for two hours to do whatever they want around the house.

  • It could be that these birds are being trained. I do hope the owners will eventually allow these birds flight feathers to grow back.

  • I thought plenty of large bird owners keep full wings.. and many of them roost outside.

  • Hes like LET ME UP the other one is like hell no i love this spot then the other one like i swear o god when i get up there!

  • you filming the video so you know that the other parrot wants to go up there too. how hard is it to move the other one next to it just saying.

  • adorable

  • looks like someone's playing favorites haha

  • Your scarlett macaw is amazing!

  • They are so sweet the little one is just adorable!!!!!

  • Beautiful!

  • awwww, it looks like tonka wants to get up there with tiko!

  • the red one makes me sad :( he wants up so hard but he can't :(

  • help the red one up!!

  • Such a pretty bathroom. And 2 thousand dollar birds, you guys must be loaded. Someones bringng home the bacon.

  • awwwwwwww the red one wants up so bad D:

  • I hope Tonka got his go in the shower soon after! How long do you let them shower each for? :)

  • let me up at 2:53? sooo cute!

  • Can these birds fly?

  • Keeping your house doors closed is impossible if you ever want to leave the house. Lol. Even a wall is dangerous for a bird that can fly...you can't remove those. Not sure of your situation but our birds are part of our family...meaning we take them with us when we go places. All it takes is one time and it's $10,000 down the drain (and heartbreak) when the hyacinth flies away. It happens that fast. It would be like allowing your 2 year old to walk across a street without holding your hand...th

  • 1:34 Hamburger :3

  • @HowEE987654321 haha I heard that too!!!

  • Also the water was running too hard onto the blue parrot.

  • @SoothedSoul I agree completely.

  • I was fighting the urge to turn away from the video. The blue parrot didn't enjoy the bath at all, and the red wanted to bath so bad, but couldn't because you've clipped it's wings - so it stuck with all of the used water mixed with poop.

Get a longer stick and let their wings grow instead of cutting them. That way they can decide wheather they want to bath or not.

  • @SoothedSoul As far as their wings go, clipping their wings is for their own safety...a bird that doesn't have it's wings clipped can fly into windows, out doors, and end up injured or dead. It is possible that the two may not get along enough to use a longer perch and put both birds on it.

  • @fancerfun Covering up the windows, keeping the doors closed and remove all sharp and dangerous objects usually does the trick...

  • the red one makes me sad D: put him upppp

  • so horrible blu yellow want you to turn off the water, it elevates the foot several times. Red wants up. it is so sad to see this, learn to parrot language before forcing parrots bathe in a hard water jet.

  • really cute ♥ :) ^_^

  • Put...the damn...parrot...next to the blue one...

  • awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • I love how much of a sodden mess they become when they are wet. Its just way to cute for words =3

  • so completely awesome. My Jenday Conure and Senegal get in with me. My shoulder gets tore up, but they like getting the mist off me, however, I would LOVE to see them get drenched on their own.

  • haha.. Love it.. They are beautiful. The Green Wing was anxious to get his shower.

  • Aw they think they are people 8)

  • Omg I love them, especially the sweet little one on the ground, haha they are so cute ! :]]

  • I love how the red one was looking at you like "help me down mommy!". Someone is a little spoiled eh? lol I used to have a conure and a quaker who would both come running into the shower every time I turned it on.

  • I love the chatter between the two. How sweet!

  • @dspeev8 It's a green wing macaw, and the wings are clipped ;)

  • This is brilliant.

Am I right in assuming the shower imitates their natural habitat (rain forest), and so is good for them? Also - is the water cold, warm, or hot?

  • @Staratino

It should be lukewarm. Leaning a bit towards the cold side.

Some birds get dusty, so a daily shower is a good idea.

Think of birdbaths. haha. This is actually quite a normal thing once you think about it.

Some prefer spray bottles to mist. Some prefer just water drawn in a bowl or sink.

Some have to get used to the idea. They may be afraid at first. All birds are different.

  • is the scarlet macaw okay? it's tail feathers seem really chopped up...

  • oh my god theyre just so gorgeous. you've done so well by them :)

  • Hey, where did you buy the shower stand for your birds? I want to buy one for my cockatiels so they can stand on it while i mist spray them! I have a wodden stick for them to stand on but it scares them some how so i end up having them on my arm spraying them and i end up getting wet >:c. Could you send me the website please? :) cute birds by the way!!

  • the yellow blue must be a female. takes longer showers than i do

  • How can you unlike this? retards

  • can the red one fly?

  • @UndeadZoey4 usually house owned birds like this one have their feather's clipped for safety reasons.

  • the red one is like "psh im not waiting i want to shower now!" >:D so cute!!! <3<3<3

  • at 01:23 i understand "Hay let me alone" xD

  • That's very cruel of you to have your bird's wings clipped, why would you want to deny them their true nature? So you can have a unique commodity?

  • @horsecrazi007 Thats what ALL bird owners do so that theyre birds can live safely at home. The majority of these birds are captive bred, never taught by their parents to fly. Keeping the flight feathers clipped ensures that the bird wont harm themselves if he/ she experiments on taking flight. This is coming from a African Grey owner of 12 years..

  • I <3 how birds look munted when they're wet <3

  • I LOVE HOW EXCITED THEY GET WHEN THEY GET BATHS!! Birds are awesome.

  • the red one is sooooo jealous

  • she/he can't fly.u cut her wings off

  • i feel like their colours gonna drip lol

  • THEY ARE SOOOOOOOO CUTE!!!!!!! My bird likes to take showers too! LOL. She is a sun conure, I am going to do a update on her soon

  • how hot is the water .like luke warm ?

  • they talk :P

  • 5 people would rather see these birds continue to be unclean and never take a shower.

  • They are so cute!! I love watching this, it always cheers me up.

  • That blue and gold one is so nice. Have they ever bit you?

  • Did the poor red one ever get up there? He got drips and drabs lol. The other one is so spoiled.

  • i think its mean to cut the feathers of a bird.

  • @lunerstar100 maybe this owner got him like that from rescue...but if not, I agree that's a brutal clipping! no way he'd break his fall at all! where's his tail gone??!!

  • @calleymacleod thay most likely had it clipped off. as will as the feathers on hes wings.

  • @lunerstar100 but do you notice his clip is different from the Blue/Golds? (still clipped though) hopefully this was one of the daft breeders that sell them clipped and hoping the owner is going to let him grow his feathers back beofre clipping him like the B/G...though would be nice to at least let him fly :) I agree that I don't like clipping, but it's up to owners really. this poor little guy has been savaged though :( sad to see him trying to fly up there and crying out.

  • very happy birdies ^^

  • @deboshadow really? that poor greenwing struggling to fly without his feathers? wouldn't say happy but hopefully this owner rescued him and hopes to have his feathers grow back....the B&G is clipped, but not as brutally as the greenwing... my GW baby boy is sat here growling everytime the GW fails at flying :(

  • @calleymacleod i'm still missing your point here. i clip my cockatiel's once a month just about. he might fuss having to be held so i can clip them, but afterwards he could of cared less. it still doesn't stop him from flying about the house and terrorizing the cats.

  • @deboshadow my point exactly, yours can still get airbourne to some degree. this one has been brutalised and would not even be able to break his fall which is likely the cause of his missing tail. I am however, making it known that perhaps it is not THIS owner to blame. perhaps she got him this way and hopes to let his feather grow back in before clipping him a a SAFER WAY like the B/G appears to be. sorry but he's clearly trying to fly up and not happy being left down there. :(

  • Why you didnt help him to go up ?

  • Hey does anyone know how much these parrots cost and how much the gray/white with a red tail one?

  • @LionMushrooms that's an african grey youre talking about. In europe they cost anything between 800 and 1500 euro. Do some really careful research on african greys before getting one though. They have great talking abilities but are incredibly unstable personality wise. Don't bring one into your life unless you are willing to spend a lot of time each day on these guys for the next 50 years (:

  • tonka you shoulda waited your turn now ur stuck at the bottom i feel bad watching u you but you shoulda waited seee now ur stuck DX!!!

  • These birds have a much better sense of personal hygiene than most dudes from my gym and the overall population who ride the subway here in NYC!

  • awww the red one wanted up there with the other one

  • I love parrots, I take care of an amazon parrot every once in a while for my friend. He is really nasty to me when I visit my friend but he loves me when he is staying at my place. Two faced son of a bitch :)

  • @olafurhh03 lol, welcome to parrots 101 (well most!) George is like that with my husband. he loves him....so long as I'm not in the room as I'm his favourite. he'll suddenly chomp down on the hubby's arm for no reason and fly to me!!! hahahaha "one person" birds are A-holes!!!

  • Hahaha they sound like children screaming with excitement :P

  • hey the red one wanted to get up there and have most of it to

  • how much did u get them and wat tempurtue did u do the water

  • Lol, HI TONKA! HI TONKA! He is just really excited about this whole bath thing!

  • maybe you should try make a longer rail for them to walk out on in the shower :D they LOVE that when they can spread their wings in the water

  • i wana snuggle with both of them. hahah

  • @lezbianbubtac not when they that wet you wouldn't!!! lol!! besides, they have a "wet dog" kinda smell when they're soaked!!

  • @calleymacleod i know haha. i have two birdies.

  • @lezbianbubtac then I have to question your sanity for wanting to snuggle to very wet macaws!!! lol George tries to roll all over me to dry himself (I'm certain he thinks he's a dog!!) I try to hide from him after a bath.....he always finds me *sigh*

  • @calleymacleod that's adorable hahaha

  • They sound so happy <3

  • you should trust try and trust your macaws with their wings. Mine only had his wing cliped once when he was young but now whenever he flyes away he comes back

  • LOL! Man, they are drenched! They really enjoy their showers :)

  • our blue and gold goes crazy for baths he will go in there and steal the tub from my mom

  • Do they know how to fly?

  • The blue one on top of the shower is like me , He looves shower and wants to get the cleanest lol

  • So cute!!!

  • "not a fan of the blow dryer" LOL

  • bird language apparently

  • Aw!! hes SO excited!!! hahaha

  • they say macaws are gentle. yeah there really gentle when there trying to take off ur finger!

  • LOL! My two quaker parrots went nuts watching and listening to your birds shower!! Mine will not get wet, they perch above the shower on the bars. Maybe they will someday be brave.

  • AAAAAAHHH dying of cuteness!!!! O.O

  • blue ones hogging all the shower! haha beauties <3

  • They get a shower about once a week or so. Blow dry them usually only in the winter time when its colder out to just get the "dripping wet" off them. I dont blow dry them all the way

  • @havafordwnachevy isnt that water too "strong" for them if it hits them?

  • @havafordwnachevy You've got beautiful Macaw parrots!

  • I've tried the blow dryer they are not a fan. Usually put them in cage under lights. They just air dry

  • How do you dry them after the shower? With a blow dryer?

  • very cute how they love having a shower

  • The red macaw is like "The water's too cold!!!" LOL!

  • Definitely a water baby. <3 I love it.

  • omg ive seen this too many times! too cute ughgh

  • They are soo entertaining to watch. they must be fantastic boys to be around!

  • It makes me sad to see all that beautiful parots with cutted wings... leave them to the nature so that they can fly...they are not supposed to live in a house... they are fucking birds... I know its fun to watch and live with them, but it's just not right...

  • @podprestige do you have a dog or a cat or anything? seriously stfu your not very smart if your trying to make people think its not good to have them. Thats just like saying that we shouldnt have dogs or cats because itgs not nature. like wtf?

  • @litlrich I do not own any kind of pets. I guess you would change your opinion if you take the time and watch these beautiful animals in the nature.

  • @podprestige If you look, the pets are having fun if they weren't they would probably fly away or something. Also pets are raised by humans its not like we just took them from the wild they think this is normal.

  • OMG I've been swallowed up by cuteness!!!!!

  • you really should keep your birds flighted..

  • HOW CUTE!!

  • DEAR GOD THIS IS SO ADORABLE

    Hold on

I think I'm getting Diabetes from the cute

  • I CANT STAND PEOPLE THAT CUT BIRDS WINGS SO THEY CAN LIVE INSIDE BIRDS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE FREE ON ON THE GROUND NO FLYING AND IN DOORS!!!!!

  • @kaceymacy91898 Quick preaching bitch, its for their own good. If one of these guys got out do you think they'd be able to take care of themselves well?

  • ma non volano?

  • are they wing klipped? i hope not :'(

  • 1:40 ''i got soap in my eyes!'' lol

  • slight yellow stains in that shower.. r u guys peeing there regulary ? D:

  • two people cant afford shower

  • not remove feathers. the birds fly, you walk.

  • @Alex1994Science

Birds can hurt themselves flying though.

We have budgies and we have to clip their wings because they'll fly into walls. One chipped a good-sized piece off his beak.

I'm tired of all these preachy people who whine about clipping feathers. THE FEATHERS GROW BACK, and it's for their own good.

  • @ watercatfish - No tail because he is only about 7 months old in this video. It had not fully grown and what was grown he has/had broken being to rough on it. He now has a full long tail

    @ shailz94 - greenwing apx 7months, Blue & gold about a year and half

  • how old are they?

  • Red one: *screams* GET OUT ITS MY TURN!

Blue and gold: *yells* NO ITS MINEE YOU GET YOUR OWN

  • why does one of them not have a tail does that help?

  • So cute to watch this. They are sooo pretty!

Very safe as well that you to clip their wings :) don't want them having a acident with a wall lol

  • Aww that's sad you cut off the feathers

  • @thewiitry would you rather them fly into a wall/outside and die? lol

when done right clipping a birds wing does no harm and causes no pain to the bird whatsoever.

  • AWWW that's adorable LOL

  • @DeViLiClOvE yes :)

  • Do all macaws like to shower? o..o
