I agree with the picks for Carlisle and Esme, especially Emse. Everyone else, I actually think the real casting was pretty perfect. Blake Lively and Hayden Christiansten are too big and would have eaten up the entire budget for the first film. Plus they both wouldn't have taken smaller roles, especially Lively, she's a primadonna. Great choice for Esme, I love it.
i think that Hayden Christensen, Blake Lively and Jonathan Rhys Meyers would have been great but that Tyron Leitso is too hot in a gentle way to be emmett if that makes sense he looks too sweet and loving for someone who in the book sounds more of a rough rugby type of guy (no offense intended)
I think all the guys are nice choices, especially Stven Strait as Jacob, and most of the chicks, too, but not Christina Ricci for Alice, because she's fugly.
